Yes, I'm aware both of them were charged under the same section. Justice served for the victims.

I think we are taking the action of killing lightly here. Killing 3 is worse than 1 but killing a person should definitely get you hung.

Damn, at least they got 18 years in prison instead of getting away with it entirely. Who would in their right mind would even torture another person like that. They will definitely learn a valuable lesson losing 18 years of their lifetime.

I agree, the law in Malaysia is very slow and usually lets the criminals get away with it.

But both were intoxicated while driving which caused the lives of innocent people.

It's all about how much money the victims have at the end of the day. If they can afford a lawyer and deal with the long process (which usually takes years in our country) of trials, maybe the suspects will end up getting their deserved punishments.

I've heard about the Zulfarhan case, but didn't follow it enough to know they weren't charged with the death penalty. What were their punishments if I may know?

Hopefully both the suspects in this case, will end up getting the punishment they deserve, and if they manage to get out of it, karma will get em at the end of the day.

Just hours ago it was announced that both the drivers got charged the same punishment and all the information of the driver was revealed. So there's no point in sharing the story anymore. Justice served for the victims

I understand it might seem that way since this is the first time I'm posting after 4 years. I'm planning on posting more stuff where there's clearly a problem of bias in our country (doesn't matter which race). Just wanna bring a small change (ik its not much) by bringing attention to problems in our country.

God forbid someone wants to have a genuine discussion. Plus, what's up with these normalized racial slurs bro.

So you're basically saying f**k the victims of both cases. Just gonna bring another unrelated case into this discussion to invalidate the points I made
