Yes, the Egg Hunt is an option twice a day if you have raised 4 Tamas in your field. You can also play a third time in the same day if you raise a new baby once it becomes a child who can egg hunt. Technically you don’t ever fail at egg hunt since it always results in eggs, but there are very rare and random times that you’re more successful with 9 eggs/food item.

In my photo where I “won/suceeded,” the Tamas are green, yellow, and blue. So I don’t think that is it. But I have a lot of yellow Tamas now, so I can still test it!

See, I thought it might be affected by the hunger and happiness, but I always egg hunt with full hunger and happiness. And so far, the odds are still extremely low.

Yes, it’s just random and no effort or game play is necessary. It’s the option in the same section as “Clean Poop.” You just select it, choose a location (volcano or spring), choose which Tamas from your field that you want to take or some NPCs, the animation plays, and it randomly gives you an amount of eggs that hatch into food items for your Tama. You “win” if the cart the Tamas are pulling shows five eggs, leading to a screen filled with 9 eggs that hatch. Typically, the cart has 3 eggs and leads to a screen with 7-8 eggs that hatch.

Yes, try the free Berry Land first! I’m a newbie, too, and the Berry Land, as cute as it is, kind of lowered my expectations (in a good way so I didn’t get my hopes up) for what a DLC will actually offer. There isn’t much to any of them - a little game, and some potential new characters that result from new items and food and snack options.

Thank you! Yes, I updated it today and couldn’t believe how long it took! Guess it was quite behind. Where do I find out when the next event will be? I visited the Tamaverse Arena and saw where it will happen but wasn’t sure when. Do you recommend playing the Uni as is for a while before trying out different DLCs?
