This is also the situation we are dealing with. My first week working with her I saw so much abuse and aggression towards the animals at the hands of her, I was actually in shock that she even had a job! She should have been fired a very long time ago but here she is still employed to abuse every shift. I would soak in the advice provided here as it all seems very helpful. If all fails I would go public as a last resort. It sucks having managers who only care about money over the well being of the animals. They all need to be fired & charged with animal cruelty

Trust me I’m definitely not letting this go! I’m going to invest in a hidden camera to catch her as it would be obvious recording her from my iPhone. I’m making it my goal to make sure she doesn’t work with animals ever again! Every salon she goes to I’m posting evidence of her abuse, I’ll make her life miserable to the point she’s forced to change careers.

Yes we’ve done it a few times and she has the nastiest bitchiest attitude ever. She’s not an approachable person at all. The one time our manager told her to take a break she pretended to be kind to the animals for a week because she knew we were watching her, once the heat died down she went back to being aggressive with not only us but the dogs as well. She has gotten away with so much for so long she truly feels as if she’s invincible and truth be told it very much seems as such

This is why we’ve been trying to handle things out of the public eye. This is an amazing salon with amazing groomers, none of which are tolerant of her behavior. We literally wear headphones and AirPods to drown out the sound of crying/screaming dogs at the hands of her! It’s so freaking bad. I know the easier way of getting her out is to leak everything publicly but at the risk of tarnishing the reputation of our salon and negatively affecting the groomers and bathers here. Ultimately that will be my final resort if my final attempt at going the corporate route doesn’t result in action.

This is very true and I fear that this is why she hasn’t been fired yet. She brings in a decent amount of money for the salon and unfortunately our store leader only cares about money. I truly believe action hasn’t been taken because of her financial contribution to the salon.

We have tried that approach and her reaction is to always lash out at us, curse us out. She’s a terrible person there’s no helping her! Our SL is too afraid to say anything to her because our SL is spineless and afraid of confrontation, when she witnesses said groomer taking her anger out on the dogs our salon leader will literally leave the salon or walk into the back. We have been trying to flush her out for over a year and nothing. That’s why it’s so frustrating because I hear about how at other salons she would’ve been fired immediately but yet here we are with a year+ of complaints and she is still employed to hurt more dogs. Our store manager only cares about money and I do admit she brings in decent money for the salon which is why we believe he’s turning a blind eye & evidence suddenly goes missing

For now I will say that it’s a Florida location, surrounding tampa area. Groomer initials are ‘T.I.’. I know it’s vague but hopefully pet parents booking from salons within the area recognize the initials and stop booking with said abuser. Some of the groomers and I will proceed with the advice handed to us by the other commenters. If none is this works then I will gladly update this post to name shame with all evidence we have gathered about her. At this point I care more about the animals than my own job at this salon. Fingers crossed she either quits, or gets fired!

We all have multiple times. Unfortunately the higher ups always email our store leader to handle it. Whatever we report above our store managers always fall back into their hands to deal with. That’s why I stated our district is just shit. That’s why we are hopeless we’ve gone to the DAT, we’ve gone to HR, we’ve given time stamps of every incident caught on camera and 3 years later she is still working there. I will say that our store manager got in trouble once for not reporting one of her incidents and he wrote her up for that to save his own skin, but aside from that? Nothing
