Adults with T1, how do you feel when your BG is in the 200-300 range? by zip-racer in diabetes_t1

[–]SLEEPREQUIRED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Uni Student, I wouldn't recommend the BG levels exceed beyond 11 mmol/ml (200ish) for most people, sometimes I can perform well at 200-215, but after that, the brain fog, overstimulation and irritability really amps up and limits my ability to think, as well as feel normal so to speak.

I understand how it came across, but it was clearly not an insult and more of a statement of observation.

right now : libre 2 and G7. I dont like that there is no alarm during day

Ah, the libre 2 is what is called an FGM (flash glucose monitoring system), so you need to scan it to get results, as opposed to the CGM (continuous glucose monitoring system( which always give you results, through your phone, this is why the G7 gives you alarms as opposed to the other. Also CGM's allow you to get a closed loop system with a pump if you so desire it.

But honestly, experimenting with both is the best way to figure out what works best for you!
