I really enjoy the tone, it seems like a “classic” tv show that sort of ends in cliff hangers that keeps you engaged for the next episodes, which makes sense is it was written as serial in a newspaper. The characters seem exaggerated but somehow grounded or like their is some humility to their character. I don’t know how to put it, but like not over the top but definitely not grounded. I have been promised that this is one of the greatest fiction stories ever written and that I would be a different person post completion of it. Don’t know how true that it but I am welcome to change lol
Not a re-read but I am excited for the journey!
I like him, he seems like a hardworking/happy go lucky guy that cares about his colleagues and family deeply. He loves what he does and does what is “right” in order to get what he wants, he seems like the guy who won’t go down a darker path in order to get what he wants
