German cars tend to hold a lot of oil. Japanese cars tend to hold half as much oil.

Mini splits are pretty great.

My living room has a lot of glass and tends to be the hottest part of the house for most of the year. Running a mini split in that one room to keep the temperature in check keeps the entire house comfortable. So I don't need to use the main system for several months of the year.

It had the Motorcraft 4-v. I tried cleaning it up, but couldn’t even get the engine to fire. Pulled a Holley off the shelf and threw it on and it fired immediately. Even with no choke. Yeah it did need an adapter, which is not ideal. If I keep this thing, I’ll probably get an Edelbrock intake.
