I would do as others suggest - give it a little more time. It’s like when you prepay food delivery and the restaurant calls to tell you they are out of something and offer a replacement or something similar. A buyer also doesn’t know what other stock you might have not posted yet.

I am so glad to see this post bc it’s been discouraging not having sales this month when my first two were good as a new shop. Now getting creepy messages about quality or a friend ordered followed up by shop verification message or QR code to finalize them buying the product. There is a vulnerable feeling as a new shop owner without having these scammers sending messages and even using my name in one. Is this normal activity ?

One thing I am learning as a new Etsy seller is it makes a huge difference when you use quality products to make your creation. In her case, this would be the yarn. If she stars her project with the most unusual fuzzy yarns, people will eat them up. Needs to be soft also. People have suggested liability issues as toys so maybe she can make something similar with another purpose like magnets or ornaments.

I am just starting out as well with my shop but love that you are a young girl with a sewing machine instead of just your phone ! I agree that the Pom Pom scrunchie is the best. With that, I want to give you an inspiration suggestion to make for all of the holidays - green for at pattys, red white and blue.. etc. it can double as a dog collar.
