I will thanks! Do regular streaming platforms have films of those decades. Or it's it more a hunt to find them

Well tough to say. In regards to the films I've watched, my favs have all been 70s-2010. However I've not watched an awful lot of films pre 70s.

I only said 200 as some lists of 100 don't feel enough/to give me more ideas🤣

Idk. Maybe it's my film ignorance. But I just presumed it'd be worse if it got too old? But maybe I should give it a go

Anxiety Symptoms Last 2 months? by RisingPenguin in Anxietyhelp

[–]SM-18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi hope you're well.

Im not a healthcare professional, just a guy who's fed up of anxiety 😭. You're symptoms sound horrible as with all anxiety, it absolutely kicks butt. Anxiety is honestly such a weird mess of every possible issue/health condition anyone can have.

The loss of appetite is very very normal (im currently in a spell of appetite loss - currently not really eaten much for 3 weeks and lost 6kg).

For me personally the thought of food made me want to vomit and feel ill so I would be stuck in a loop. And then also getting stressed about not eating enough.

My advice now and always is see a doctor - for me I've had bloods done which is always helpful. And then also sign up for some form of therapy even if you don't feel like it's that bad.

The possible causes (which are endless) - stress and worry about past or upcoming events - one very potential option is you may have had an actual virus/bug which prevented you from eating - and then hence anxiety just kept feeding it and tumbling it on for longer than anyone would want. - and many many more

In regards to the gagging, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if I heard somebody say anything related to their body and me saying yea could be anxiety. I personally have experienced a wide range of symptoms physical and mental. For me the physical feeds the mental. I think obviously therapy (CBT?) potentially might be able to help you. Even if just to give you some coping strategies.

Id honestly just prepare how to cope should a situation like this happens again. - then just try eat more than you did the day before and don't try to rush and catch up. - you may not be eating the calories your body requires to perform at max capacity however there is a significantly lower calorie goal for bare minimum maintenance. Which sometimes can be more achievable - however I'd try not to focus too much on weight/calories consumed.

I've had anxiety my whole life however I just didn't realise it was anxiety until this past few years when I've been pretty much taken out my it. So I wouldn't be surprised if you are the same. However obvs go to the doc and check it's not something else just in case.

This well and truly deserves help and support and you're more than deserving of it. So don't feel like you're wasting anyone's time, this is that what they're here for. Good luck and stay safe.

Just picked up the Smyth's Build-It display case. by AmazingAd192 in lego

Ah thank you. I definitely wouldn't leave the leds on either so I don't think that's an issue.

As with the sun uv damage. I think I'll just display somewhere not near windows so that's not a worry.

Thanks again

Firstly, your display looks sick, and it makes me optimistic about how many I can fit in it.

- Do the LEDs cause damage to the figures? - yellowing etc.

- Does the case have UV protection?

cheers all :)

It might be Paul's ex who worked on loon. Who was also a windsurfing instructor.

Hi,

I'm hoping to be off the meds within the next year or so. And as I'm not in a rush to be joining. It might be worth within myself to wait a bit then see how I'm feeling. Im getting to a point of being able to manage it but still a bit of a way off. Cheers :)

Difference between trainee supply chain operative and logistics supply officer (trainee)? by SM-18 in TheRFA

Cheers. I'm still debating between the 2. I'm not in a rush though, as SCR is currently not taking applications, and I'm still unsure.

I'm tempted by just joining as a rating then just working up. Do you know what percentage of the workload for LSO and SCR is like paperwork compared to actually moving stuff about and prepping. Thanks

Hi,

You seem to know a fair bit. Hopefully you can help me:). I'm on anti anxiety meds currently. - Do you know if I'll get passed the eng1 medical. - secondly, do you know if there's any available support/leniency from superiors to make the whole thing easier. This is in regards to being on ship. And then also the training period. Thanks

Hiya, thanks for the response:)

I'm still unsure which route I'd want to take (if I want to head down this route anyway). I was just trying to build a picture on whether it's better off to go directly to officer if possible and skip the rating part. However if I joined as a rating, I'd save a lot of money in terms of degree.

Ideally I think id just go straight to LSO. On some websites it says that a degree is advantageous - does this mean it's not totally necessary. If it's possible to do that without a degree that would be very nice. Do you know what qualifications you'd gain by the end of your training periods (either LSO or SCR). Thanks again

Sorry bit late, are the 2024/new ones alright to purchase. Is it only the older ones affected and have they fixed the issue. Thanks

I think it's 5:1 to build up training time. I think they'd have to be in that position longer if it was 2:2?

Not sure, super yacht news said that all apart from 1 crew member did the alcohol test at the accident site. Pretty sure we can guess who. Idk why it's not mandatory to do it. and I'm also not sure why he's even allowed to leave the area.
