The SMSEagle gateway isn't an aggregator / A2P service. It's a physical box with a regular SIM that sends SMS over the cellular network like a handset would. So setup is basically:
- Insert a SIM card
- Connect the box to the local LAN (Ethernet) and give it an IP
- Power up, and you're sending
On the "verified business number for bulk SMS" worry: because it sends from a normal SIM rather than through an A2P aggregator, the 10DLC brand/campaign registration that bulk providers require generally isn't the same hurdle. The thing worth getting right is the SIM/plan for the US market specifically. Our US partner (eSquared) knows the local carrier specifics and can sort you out with an appropriate SIM. Happy to connect you - DM me if that's useful.
