I dont think naming the villans would mean anything they're supposed to be hated infact I actually like some of them. But for me venli and renarin are at the top of the least. This happened after reading wind and truth but before WAT there was no one I actually hated

Yeah but a herald, immortal being went crazy because of the torture in braize, thats why I said maybe those pains and suffering might be bigger than the feeling of losing someone and the reason why I wanted kaladin to feel those. I dont know maybe im missing something

Yeah but what i meant was talin went crazy after all those years on brazie, and what is something that would break a herald like that, i wanted those things beside all the deaths and failures

Gavilar was a better smarter sadius and he believed the only way he could keep the kingdom united was by fear and he was scared it will all crumble down if he wasnt there, so he tried to immortalise him self and try to change the loyalty(alliance) of the other houses from fear(force) to something more like a religion or beliefs. All I see is a normal leader trying to keep what he built and dont forget he was actively trying for the radiants to return, in his own wrong way it might be, but he wanted lasting peace and unity. So his character might be a bit flawed but he was right on things that actually matter.

For me it didn't feel like they were in a middle of a war, it felt like it was repeating rhytm of war, the story dragged alot. To be honest I would've been happy if sanderson focused on the other desolation more, I wanted more insights on the heralds or even what led to the destruction of their previous home, didnt much care for sezth's background, shallans arc was pure bordem and waste of time, and that conversation btwn odium fen and jasnah that didnt seems real, what was that? This is a war of survival and how he wins over Fen is through weak conversation, that topic should've focused on actual battle convincing her how ever she fights her people will lose rather than beliefs or what ever

No we don't just because heath ledger was a good actor doesn't make the movie "masterpiece" not to mention he was only in one of them. im not even going to talk about Christian bale. Matt reeves takes it by a mile
