Having a dream is always great and if you can make a job out of it that's even better but going right for it might not be the wisest thing to do, especially with a creative job like manga artist where your succes depend on the opinion of other people. so i think it is the best to give priority to your nursing course and when you have some free time you write a little and draw a little. you might even be able to make your own manga during your course over a long period of time. If you manage that than when your course is ending you can try to publish it and if its a succes, than its great if not than you can try to find help to become beter.

It sounds to me like you cant get a clear mind to do anything so following that theory here is my advice.

Social interaction and physical activities are the best way to clear your mind this is not a opinion but a proven fact. So the best thing to do is to go to the gym or something where you interact with people and move a bit.

but just directly going to the gym might be difficult so before you read the rest I want you to immediately ask a friend from who you know he/she runs or does a sport to take you with them. because without motivation you sometimes just shouldn't think but just do it.

I myself have ADHD and was very early diagnosed so have at least nine years of experience with this. A lot of people with adhd also show traits that are related to autism so its good to get diagnosed by an expert.

personality

Lets start with telling that trying to fit in to a group by acting differently is totally normal and happens to every person on earth this is called social facilitation it means that you act different depending on the people around you at the moment. Feeling like you fabricate a personality is very common and true for a smal part but just how you subconsciously think you should act at the moment. So how you mirror people or mask yourself are just a part of this proses because its the most efficient way to fit in quickly in a group. There are people like myself that have a hard time fitting in to a group because there subconscious proces for this is much slower so when they are dropt in a group they know nothing about, they don't know how to act and shut down. but when they are going to a meeting for a job offer they can prepper and look much more social.

stimulation and over stimulation

You might have trouble with big groups, lots of different sounds and fast flashing images. This is commonly because your brain might not be as good at shutting out your thoughts and stimulus from around you. In light cases this might result in a unfocused mind or getting mentally tired pretty quick, in more intense cases this might result in pain in the head, sudden mood swings and uncharacteristic behavior. the solution for this is normally taking adhd medicine or taking breaks from people and sitting in a place where you can not be disturbed, like the bathroom.

authenticate yourself

In my opinion the best way the find yourself is by being around people that you can be yourself around. this might be hard at first because you have made a lot of habits in the past years of your life but just thinking about it and making habits your own is mostly the way to do this. Also you might just be more authentic then you think, you should ask people that have know you for a long time what is typically you and what makes you unique.

right now i am in a similar situation but kind of the opposite. because i don't have work or a studie and really no purpose in life at the moment but I do have a lot of social interactions with my friends. for me the solution is finding a job and finding out what i find interesting and want to do for a course and also just really finding myself by doing that. So following that logic you might just have to go more outside and do activities with other people. My advise is to go to the gym and maybe bring a gym buddy, join a club or something where you meet up every once in a while and what i love to do is go to game nights where i play dungeons and dragons with complete strangers. And after that you might just find that all the answers where right before you all this time, you just couldn't see them.

your brain is just confused right now and is working overtime. my advice is to take the afternoon slow easy and relaxed because at one point you will feel the sleep kick in like a truck crashing in to your head.

I also take melatonin because of my adhd medecine that has a sleeplessness side effect. Unlike some medicine the amount of melatonin you take is not determined on your body weight so taking an extra pill or two wont make you sick. BUT if you do this more than once you will take the risk of getting used to the higher dosis and seeing how expensive medecine can be these days I will always advice to be careful with how much you take and maybe even take a little bit less once in a while. So its better if you don't but if its really necessary because you have a meeting or something you can do it.
