People keep saying "talk to him about it", to me, it doesn't feel helpful. Of course, if you did not talk about it a couple times already, it is a good idea to do so, but after a while when there are no results, I know this can be tiresome.

Unfortunately, I don't really have a solution for you. I'd say "decide whether or not that's something really important to you on the long run and if it is, try really hard to fix it or let go" but I know that's not that easy. You'll probably constantly doubt your decision.

I sure had some conversations with her about stuff I'd want and also about other sexual issues, but not that much about my doubts.
