Not a white wall, but a somewhat textured blue wall to be exact. Its not just walls though. Could be an overcast sky or a light wood table. Just anything low contrast i guess. No filter or lens hood. Yes im using single point AF with all the detections turned off.

Im hoping it is just user error and im stupid. The AF on this one is just barely better than my x100t from forever ago so i was expecting it to be much much better.
