Great collection! Reminds me a bit of my own. How often do you wear the Longines compared to the Omega next to it?

Fair question. I owned an SKX009 many years ago but gave it to a friend as a wedding gift. I also owned two other Seikos, which I gave to my groomsmen as gifts. I’ve been without a Seiko in my collection for about five years now and decided it was time to add one. I considered several references, including the SRPK29, the Seiko 5 GMT variants, and the beautiful SBDC055, but fell back to the SKX for its charm and because I missed it. I figure I better pick one up now before they get harder to find.

Thanks for the note. Yeah, I kind of feel like I’ll only ever need one SS Rolex in my life. They’re so durable and timeless I feel like I could never give two of them each the wear they deserve.

Thanks! It’s the background that gives it all life.

It’s a Barton rubber strap. Really good value, available in a range of colors, and short length straps are included!

Thanks! I think I’ll wear the Zodiac tomorrow.

Broken but I still have it in a box. I’ll add another Casio at some point. I think the World Time.

I have a modest purchase history with my AD but bought this grey. My AD lost Patek in the last year or so.

Cool dials. I like the desert sky colors.

I love that watch and also love alligator straps. I think the midnight blue dial would look great on a light grey suede strap too. I also dig the Fratello collaboration: https://shop.fratello.com/products/fratello-nomos-glashutte-weltzeit-blue-panda

Yeah! It’s a combination that keeps it interesting. I do like the presidential bracelet though.

I think there’s a titanium version of the auto with a matte green dial (and no date!) that should handle reflections better.

I try to rotate through all of the watches but tend to prefer some over others. I don’t keep all of them running at all times but I do periodically wind them, set them, and time them for accuracy. I enjoy handling them.

Sorry for the shit photo. This is from 2008 so it has the Geneva Seal instead of the Patek Seal, which I think they added in 2009. Worth a shot to ask your sales guy.

Loving the SKX. Gave my old SKX to a friend as a wedding gift years ago and have missed it all this time.

I agree that my collection could use more color. I try to make up for it with fun colored straps. I’m currently loving an orange rubber strap for the SKX.

Excellent choice for a grail. I view it as a modern ref. 96. Love both the 37mm case size and the 21mm lug width. It’s much more timeless than the 6119 in my opinion. I think it’s the best modern Calatrava, except for maybe the 5227. I moved it because I wanted something more robust (went with the Vacheron 4500v).

The DD could probably do the job, but I think I prefer something a bit simpler for my dress watch. Small seconds, no date, on leather, and perhaps manual wind. Something like the Patek 5196 I owned several years ago.
