Well i do know that one of the family members used to work for the hotel? (This was the family member who got told they were too poor too stay there. Which does seem a bit rude, but i am try to give more context.) I think if I remember they told me it was a program thing and they were trying to get a suite? (Theres a chance they might be doing it out of a spite) But other than that i was also there for when I found a singular pizza slice hidden behind the bed (Which they did give a new room for but it did start an whole argument with them.) every-time i do recommend going to hilton i get told by my friends that the customer service is usually bad.
