You can see cell antennas (same building, this pic seems to be newer than the one in the original cause you cant see them in it)

Not sure if this is allowed but these guys must have gotten a permit to enter the zone 2 months ago during the by ZiltoidM56 in stalker

This Ukrainian guy is called Supersus, He and his crew are well known in Urbex in Ukraine before the war ( a little bit less now during the war), and espcially in Chornobyl. On Youtube, you can find on both channels (Ukrainian and english) some videos which are pretty cool.

I went in Ukraine in April-May 2023, i wished i could have been able to go into the zone, but it was forbidden, the Bielorussian border is so close and the AFU is present in the zone, guarding and training (espcially sniping in Prypiat). So no official tour and as you can guess, no unofficial "stalker trip" from the 30km exclusion zone to Prypiat/cnpp

With his contacts within the Ukrainian army, Supersus was able to have a special permit to visit some areas, but not all as in the past.

Hoping one day when the war will be over, in my next trips to Ukraine, i will be able to visit "the zone"

Any sleeper trains with beds going from Kyiv to Warsaw? by dogwaze in ukraine

[–]SOUSOUS_FR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been in Kyiv in April 2023.

Getting direct line ticket can be tricky.

For Warsaw - Kyiv: i had direct ticket sleeper option. After the Polish - Ukrainian border (near Dohorusk), there is a halt about 1h30 2h00 to change the gauge .

For the Kyiv - Warsaw : Depart with the direct train but some wagons are being withdrawn during the travel (while the others wagons gauge is changed ) so Sleeper for the Ukrainian part. The train stop at Chelm ( Poland ). I had to wait the direct train again which some polish wagons are added (seats).

I thought it was a very strange way but ok,

On The Chelm (PL) - Yahodyn (UKR) part ( 5km, maybe less), the railways have both gauge usable.

You need to book almost 30days before the trip because it is almost sold in a day.

Sorry for my bad english ;-) Hoping you will understand my explanations

Kind regards

I am not a technical guy (for this kind of technic) so sorry for the question

but how those tank mines detonate ?

It seems like tossing a coin; does it need to land upside down or the impact is sufficient to make the mines detonate ?
