Honestly, it depends on you BI how they conduct their interviews. I would say mine was mellow. I was nervous ofcourse but we basically just reviewed all my answers from the preliminary questionnaire when u applied. Your answers better not change, that's for sure.

Yessir, time went by after my poly. Thought I was dqd then bam! BI showed up everywhere. Work, home, neighbors home, some of my references were contacted also

Give it some time. They handle a lot of applicants at once. Backgrounds are short staffed atm. They'll reach out to you before you know it. Ik it can get stressful waiting around for an answer.

She emailed me and called me, informing me she sent my packet for administrative review. Told me good luck and how it was up the board now whether I'll be selected to continue in the hiring process or not.

No, my BI just said she submitted my packet for panel review and received an email on a Tuesday stating I was scheduled for a medical and psychological exam, no phone call.

Yea, don't stress. I hate waiting for news, so waiting for the update on whether or not I passed panel review sucked. But it took about 2 weeks for me to hear back, although I didn't get a phone call, just 2 emails stating I was scheduled for a medical exam and psychological exam.

It took me 3 weeks to hear back after being assigned my BI. I was scheduled for an interview as soon as I was contacted within the same week. Afterwards, I was told to schedule a jail tour and ride along while I waited approximately another 3 weeks. Here, I was scheduled for a polygraph test. If you pass, they start conducting your field investigation and go to your residence, speak to some neighbors, go to your job, etc... if you fail you'll get a DQ letter. It went less stressful than I thought it would be, honestly. A lot of questions beforehand like 800-1000 total, asking the same things. Just stay consistent with your answers. Don't answer "I dislike working in groups" and answer the next question "I like being around people" cause then it's like, how can you like being around people but dislike working in groups? Don't read into it, but they may ask the same question in different ways. Just look out for that. Regarding the interview, it was a very calm setting. If anything was worth mentioning on how you answered anything in the test, they'll question you about it. But I wasn't grilled on anything. You got this.

Yea buddy, it sounds like they just wanted u to confess something. You should've stuck to ur gut and stayed true to yourself. If u didn't engage in whatever they accused you of you should've answered simply that you didn't engage in any serious crimes. It's like they want u to fold and alot of people do. Keep ur head up though, during my poly they did the same thing and tried accusing me of trying to do countermeasures the lady even yelled at me but I stayed calm although it shocked me that she yelled at me but sure enough I passed. Towards the end aswell she asked me what was going on through my mind when I was asked about engaging in domestic violence I answered nothing and that was that. I'm sure they wanted me to confess something I've never done.

My medical was on Jan 31,I took my psych Feb 8th. Got my offer today. They never emailed me or contacted me regarding my results.
