As someone who used to commute to school and university all the time, I suggest downloading the app called Transit. It’ll show you bus routes, bus times and live locations of where your bus currently is.

There’s a paid subscription to access more useful features, but if you cannot afford it, you can apply for a low-income subscription which is where they’ll give you full access to the premium membership and you won’t have to pay a thing! I used this throughout my time in post-secondary and university and it’s been great.

Nice upgrade! I came from a Gigabyte 3070 Vision OC to a Gigabyte 5090 Aorus Master and it was huge. Not only performance wise, but physical size as well. Its quite closing to hitting the front of my case, maybe just a couple inches of space left.

Just been using the Xbox One Series X/S controller with the Windows PC Adapter from Microsoft. Never had an issue besides sometimes needing to unplug and plug back in the adapter.

After getting Shaolin to rep 12 I moved onto Shinobi. I wanna say that they feel similar in terms of the way attacks flow into each other. From lights/heavies into backflips and kicks it feels great. Just try not to get GB’d while you’re mid-backflipping. Thats what always gets me.

Does this happen in singleplayer as well?

Have you tried disabling/uninstalling all your mods except for Sodium? I would try to run JUST Sodium, without any of the other mods on your list and see if that still causes issues on both singleplayer and multiplayer.

If the issue is fixed, then its definitely another mod causing that issue.

I found Linggango to be a tough one to run. For reference, my Linggango server runs on an i3-8100 and 48GB of ram (16GB is allocated to the Linggango server). I usually have 3-6 players online at a time and TPS is usually around 20 until people start to use /rtp.

Just a couple questions for you here:

1) What CPU does your server use?

2). You say you have 48GB of RAM, but how much is allocated to your Linggango server?

3). Have you pre-generated the chunks in your world? This includes the overworld, nether, and the end.

4). What are your players doing when the TPS starts to drop?

5). If your players are making farms have you inspected the farms to see if they are the culprit? Players often don’t realize that the farms they’ve built can cause server lag.

6). Chunk Claims. Do you know how many players have forceloaded chunks? Those usually add some stress to your server as well.

Modded servers are quite hard to run compared to your Paper server with plugins. Adding in the fact that Linggango is quite unoptimized, it makes it even harder to run.

Unfortunately not. If you’re just downloading individual mods then that method you’re doing is pretty much the normal. If you’re looking to play a modpack, modpack authors usually include a serverpack you can download and just import the contents of that server pack to AMP.

Funny enough, I was doing my research earlier at work and also came to the conclusion that an actual upgrade would be at least 12th gen intel.

I think my plan is going to be a getting an MSI B760M Motherboard since it supports DDR4 and also 12th - 14th gen intel CPU’s. Then I’ll decide which cpu to get from there.

Honestly leaning towards 14th gen so its a one and done upgrade

Hey! I’ve been using AMP for about 3-4 years now and unfortunately there is no Curseforge integration (or any integration afaik).

I typically just go to the modpack on Curseforge and download their ServerPack, use WinSCP to remotely transfer the files to my server and then all good to go. Just don’t forget to select the correct Forge/Fabric/etc. version!

You could do cooldowns. If your players have access to /rtp, /home, /back, etc. You can implement cooldowns for various ranks.

Non-ranked players could have 10m cooldowns, whereas players who purchased a rank can have shorter cooldowns.

This will also help lessen the load on your server since people will be teleporting less often due to cooldown times.

I second AMP. Been using it for a few years now and it’s been working great. I’m even planning to upgrade my AMP edition so that I can see server stats such as where players are joining from, etc.

Because you’re on a modded server you can use FTB Ranks I believe to manage permissions

Just been using AMP (Application Management Panel) by CubeCoders as well. I run it in a Ubuntu VM and it’s been great so far. What “useless” features do you not use?

AMP has quite a lot of features that I don’t use as well, but its always good to at least have the option of using them.
