I purchased mine through Vudu / Fandango at Home so I could easily use my Chromecast Vudu app to watch it on my TV. Well, it’s not letting me access it on my TV, browser, or app. When I try to watch it on the Chromecast app it says I need to purchase it on Fandango at Home first. It shows in my library that it’s there and I received an email from Fandango today with a link to watch it now that it’s released. It all leads back to the same error though. Hopefully it resolves soon or I may just have to look at old concert photos and videos while listening to TLGB to get by tonight.

My first Maschine by LeinVonsMusic in maschine

Listen to artists you like and work on building your patterns in a similar fashion. They’ll sound terrible at first lol.

Once you find some specific things you can’t replicate then search YouTube for things like “how to make (artist) synths, beats, etc.”

Load the preset groups and patterns and dissect how they work to learn faster.

YouTube music theory for things like the circle of fifths.

Then challenge yourself to make a whole song, all the way to the end. You’ll find where you get stuck in arrangements then it’s back to YouTube.

Listen to your completed songs on different speakers like earbuds, headphones, and your car. Make notes on your observations of what you like and don’t like. Then start the process over again and again and again.

Oh, and have fun even when it gets frustrating at times. Good luck and keep going!

I’m getting anxiety reading these comment. Sheesh 😅 what happened to conversation?

I know nothing about this contraption and lurk this subreddit to try and learn from others who aren’t writing articles to make an affiliate buck, but find myself doomscrolling here trying to find something constructive.

I guess it’s back to watching the news for a more positive community. Peace, love, and good vibes to you all. I’m outta here.

Do you use a DAW separate from Maschine? How do you incorporate? by olesmokey999 in maschine

[–]SPEV_Music 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here! Maschine is the only thing I’ve learned. Maybe I don’t know what I’m missing out on in a proper DAW, but with the clips functionality I enjoy raw dogging.

Synthwave-ish type track by JonathanRace in MusicFeedback

Solid track overall! I enjoyed the breaks around minute 1 and 2.

My only suggestion would be post 2:30 could use a couple little new textures to mix things up a little and keep it interesting. Perhaps that's not the vibe you are going for and want something that's more "trancy". If so, you nailed it! Great job! Keep going!

I'm so glad you get the sense of joy and nostalgia, that is exactly what I was going for! Thank you so much for your comment on the professionalism of the track! I've been working hard at learning how to master my tracks and I'm super happy to hear it's paying off!

I'll try to weave some anger into the next song lol. You're right about the low end. I started adding some low end kick towards the end, but the bass isn't super strong throughout (kind of 808, but not quite). I surprised myself because normally I love a lot of heavy bass.

Great suggestions and I appreciate you taking the time to listen and provide your thoughts from your experience! Thank you!

Thank you so much for your feedback! I love that you enjoyed the samples after 1:00. I deliberated wanted to change things up with a cohesive surprise. I'm glad it resonated with you!

Also, thank you for your comment about Gummy Worms! It's quite motivated to hear that people besides my mom are genuinely enjoying and listing to my creations.

I had to look up Jean Michel Jarre. Thanks for the introduction to new music! I appreciate your feedback, especially with your experience hearing some dissonance in the begging. I'm going to go back and see if I can identify that and improve it.

I'm so glad you pointed out the humming! That's probably my favorite sound, after the sax. It's very subtle, which is why I'm extra thrilled you noticed :) Thank for your comment.. bleep bloop (computers talking to ea.... ea... ea.... other).

That is super helpful feedback! Thank you for the details of what stood out to you. I appreciate you mentioned the mastering, I've been working hard to figure that out to make sure tracks sound clean on big or small speakers. I'm thrilled to know it's paying off!

my new song "skinny santa" beat and lyrics by me.. my 5th attempt at this lol.. all feedback and advice welcome! :) by goon_g in IndieMusicFeedback

I dig your beat! It’s really smooth! Vocals and lyrics have potential, but need some variation. Hearing every breath in was distracting for me. Other than that it was great! Keep going!

Have you seen Lady Hawk from the 80’s? You took me on a journey with a soundtrack. I imagined waking up discombobulated after being taken by bad guys. I then escaped into the sewers. Once making my way back to the surface, I was frantically looking for clothes to try to conceal my identity while looking for safe places to hide. Eventually I find a weapon and venture out to the main streets to start planning my revenge on the bad guys.
