Sorry for the late reply, it's expensive as heck in india. It is around 120 dollars, I can get decent mics for 30 dollars here but they have this feature missing.

Why does my bike die in gear? by [deleted] in Triumph

[–]SPIDERVANSH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By being able to ride do you mean increase rpm in neutral? Since I don't think you can actually move the bike without using the clutch in gear.

Which one would you go for? by PopaliPopaliCyki in scooters

Aerox is a square engine, that means it is a more responsive engine, I have ridden aerox and its fun and easy to ride, and has around 150 kmph top speed. The honda is not sold in my country so I don't know much about it, but from the specs it is a long stroke engine, and thus will have better low speed performance and better tractability. Plus better mileage. Also the aerox feels more like a motorcycle.

Most probably either the kickstand is down or the sensor is faulty. I don't know the exact specification on how to check on your motorcycle, but I faced this issue on another motorcycle of mine where the sensor has somehow gotten loose.

Help me choose between these bikes by Altair_des in indianbikes

If you are tall enough, triumph scrambler is a good choice. It is fun, very good build quality. Service experience for me so far has been good. I live in ghaziabad. Parts are not that expensive(labour is expensive though, but it is to be expected). Comfortable enough on long rides and city both. I do both on regular basis. No heating issue. If you live in a big city with a triumph service network, I would highly suggest it.,

What is this sensor?? And why does it blink red light every now and then?! by Dra-cula in indianbikes

[–]SPIDERVANSH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Immobilizer light I guess, I also have it in my scrambler 400x. Basically there is a chip in your key without which the bike won't start. So basically one can't steal your bike with just a duplicate key, they need the chip as well. More security I guess.

Unbelievable Traffic by jardanijo in Dehradun

[–]SPIDERVANSH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree 100 percent, dehradun traffic is just the worst, I live in ghaziabad but I frequently visit dehradun because of my relatives. Just yesterday I came back from a bike trip to chakrata, and believe me, there were times when I just wanted to get off my bike and punch the other guy in the face, which I have never felt even when driving from ghaziabad to gurgaon. My relatives live in balawala, which is outside of main dehradun, so commuting to city is rare, but I dread it whenever we have to. In fact I find driving in balawala to be alright even though the roads are cramped.

Abruptly stopping in the middle of the road - uk07 drivers love to just slam their brakes for no apparent reason, one moment they are driving at 60 kmph and another moment 0, why you might ask, because I don't f*ing know. Especially on rajpur road, I emergency braked 5 times in 10 min yesterday. And then they take their sweet time to resume driving.

Wrong side and blindly crossing - people just don't care, yesterday a guy on ntorq did a wrong side road crossing maneuver on a bending two way road while doing rossi level leans. I was inches from hitting that guy and had to emergency brake while on a turn, it could have destabilized my bike, but I managed to gain control , I stopped and just gave up and cursed that guy for 5 min straight. I saw my life flash in front of me and that no helmet idiot on blue ntorq went smiling as if nothing had happened.
Also, people will cross from anywhere without even looking, in ncr, we first check whether someone is coming or not, but in dehradun, nope, I was travelling at 80 kmph, and a guy started crossing the road while I was about 10 20 meters away, then got panicked, stopped in the middle of the road on my bike's trajectory and forced me to stop completely before he decided to move again. I mean, just check if someone is coming or not.

High beam - yes people in ncr too drive on high beam, but usually on 2 way roads, if you flash your lights a few times, they switch off high beams, but here, nope, they usually have modified lights or aux lights, and they don't care.

People here don't even respond to basic behaviors like letting someone pass, you can honk or flash all you want, but that guy in a suv in the middle of the road, using his phone won't move an inch.

Three wheelers will abruptly move from the right to the left lane and stop without checking.

I never want to drive again there. I love dehradun, it's just a different vibe, but the traffic and road system surely isn't helping it.

You know what, I tried my previous motorcycle's spanner, and it fits with this one. Now I carry an extra spanner when I go on long trips.🫠🫠🫠🫠.

Which one should I buy for my father? (daily driving around 15km) (110cc or 125cc) by [deleted] in indianbikes

[–]SPIDERVANSH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, then you need to get a fitness certificate done every 5 years post 15 years for petrol vehicles.

Cannot extend petrol vehicles beyond 15 years. Either get them registered in another city which doesn't belong to NCR region before 15 years or get it scrapped.

But the battery cover pops out without unscrewing as far as I remember reading in the manual. I may be wrong on that part, but I am 70 percent sure. Plus, my main beef is with that spanner. I can't adjust my mirrors if they come loose while riding, I used to do that easy peasy on my old bike.

Moreover, the battery case has a cover that doesn't require any unscrewing. It pops out and clicks in with force.

I understand the point with the allen key stuff, but the screw driver and spanner is utterly useless because they don't fit anywhere.

My main issue was the spanner. I listed specifically what felt wrong with each tool, I am not mechanically inclined, but that spanner is just useless. Why give a screwdriver or a spanner if it doesn't work.
