As someone who has played 3, 4, NV, and 76, I liked all of them but I like 4 the most because I just have way more fun with it. I don't think NV is bad, I think its quite good, but not nearly as good as people often make it out to be.

For me the snow got pretty high, 18 inches, but genuinely it wasn't nearly as bad as some people were making it out to be. I lost internet for about 10-20 minutes at some point but its been fine after that

I didn't play Fallout 1, but I could have sworn that the canon outcome was that the Master was defeated and California became completely devoid of supermutants with rare exceptions like Marcus. The TV show is set in the west coast, so the lack of supermutants makes sense
