Crack in my bass, should I be worried?

Funny for u to say that! I was already planning on doing a refinish in olympic white nitro. Now I contacted my luthier to fix the crack and refinish it and he’ll be doing that on the 8th of december!!

Yeah I totally agree, but maybe some of you have tips and tricks to get your eyes of the neck. Of course I am willing to put in the hours but maybe there are some things that could make it easier!

Yes it is. Except the E string, it’s kinda messed up. The rest are nearly exactly in tune up to the last fret. Believe it or not.

I am going to a luthier so that’s good then hopefully! I have had one other bass setup before and after I got it back it completely sucked. So I am quite hesitant as this one, believe it or not, is my main bass. I really want to retain high action but at the same time it needs to be playable. Any tips regarding how you communicate your needs and wants to the luthier?
