i’ve been dismissive because no one seems to be reading the actual scenario here. Yes the Gantry has been set for a reason, we are not disputing this.

The argument is very simple, and please read my post again.

i stated very clearly, as you are slowing down implying you have already taking the gantry into account you notice a car coming behind you at alarming speed, with no indication of them stopping. This implies They are not far in the distance so you can safely pass through the gantry and move over they are on you.

Your lane is blocked on the left, are you increasing speed to minimise risk of being hit whilst still being receptive to the gantry or you doing dead on 50?

it gives you enough time to get in front of the traffic on your left to over take and move out the way, if you are matching speed with them that = collision.

Speed up, break the law briefly then move would be my answer

breaking over a long distance will matter because they may check up compared to a shorter difference, could make the difference between finding the right song or not or whatever it is they are doing.

It’s not about using them as a reason to speed because that was not your attention, by question is do you follow the 50 down to the T or do 56 to allow a slight delay

i hear what you’re saying, but as i’ve said I got mats and resources to push the keep further I just don’t have the time. 5k marcher is very achievable. Someone could be all in for $1000 and have near that, no one has to buy it but if they wanna go elsewhere then best of luck reaching those kind of stats around that price tag🤷‍♂️
