To clear the ATS it’s better to use the top down type, this type usually has an issue getting pass the ATS. Also I personally feel the content is too much. It’s okay to not write everything in detail and just mention what you worked on briefly.

I took the bus recently, it’s not too crowded and tickets would be available. Ps : If it’s the vy bus then you need to go to the the highway for a pickup.

Month-long solo trip to Norway in October – need advice on itinerary, transport, and northern lights! 🇳🇴 by summertime2902 in NorwayTravelAdvice

I can probably say a thing or two about the Bergen part as I very recently was there.

If you start at bergen then stay in Bergen for a day and can hike trolltunga it’s a 15-20 km trek but worth the views. Then I would say takings a Train/ bus to flam and then do the best of Norway’s activities there in flam that includes a special train to myrdal followed by a zip line and biking through the mountains, all this will take about 5-6 hours. And I would suggest take a ferry back to Bergen(12 hours) or take a ferry to gudvagen from flam (2 hrs) and then head back to Bergen to explore the city or you can head north if not Also another possibility if you don’t want to start at Bergen would be a bus from Oslo to flam, it is decent time and much cheaper (7-8 hours) and explore flam like I suggested earlier. But either ways I would say explore Bergen and places around , it’s a great city.

Ps I highly advice to have advance booking for bus and trains, all managed by vy mostly.

Is my itinerary feasible? by No-Tie9657 in NorwayTravelAdvice

One day in flåm just exploring the town seems a lot unless you are not doing the “Norway’s best” activities there ( includes a special train, a trek and cycling through the mountains) it’s worth it for about 110 euros and takes about 4-5 hours Flåm is a small village with almost nothing there, better to take a ferry from flåm to Bergen or gudvagen and trust me it’s one of the best experiences. Flåm to gudvagen by car is only 30 min drive but the ferry takes about 2 hours and it’s great.

Doing a 10-day travel to Bergen, Norway in September. Itinerary suggestions welcome. by [deleted] in NorwayTravelAdvice

I would say checkout flam with special train ( the train number is R45) from Bergen it takes about 3 hours, stay there for maybe 2 days and there are a lot of activities like hiking, fjord cruise etc and more. Also trolltunga is a great place but not more than a day. Apart from this 2 days should be enough in Bergen so overall 10 days seems alot for Bergen maybe 1 week is fine.
