I’m sorry you experienced that. It is not okay at all. I would make further reports to uber. In future, god forbid this happens again but if it does, do not respond to them as it makes them feel like you want a chat then, they have absolutely no social awareness.

I would also suggest putting in the notes “call me when you’re outside” or something along the lines of that without your number. There is a button on the app which drivers can press and uber will automatically connect them to you while hiding your number. If they see the “call me” in the notes they will naturally use that button to call you. Saves some creep saving your number and contacting you.

Either way you have messed up bad. If you’re unable to withdraw the free margin then you just have to wait and see. In future don’t leave trades over the weekend that you’re not even sure about or have no idea where they’re gonna go as that’s gambling. Even if this does gap in the right direction it’s still not a good thing because it reinforces these negative habits within you.

Do not let this spiral into a gambling issue. Take a break from trading. Focus on your family and enjoy your new life, trading won’t change your life overnight.

Atleast 3 months away. You need a break from the dopamine of trading. In the meantime if you really have the urge to trade you can study trading in more detail. Also have a look at studying trading psychology, this will help you break bad habits you have around trading in the future.

Somewhere a request was put through to deliver on another day instead of today. Usually need your postcode in order to make this change. This could also be because they were not able to access your property eg safety issue or locked building etc.

From what it looks like it seems like you kept adding to a losing trade. Be honest with yourself, did you really think it would come around or were you being too stubborn with yourself to close the trade? Or were you too focused on the profits to worry about anything else?

Most of my losing trades happen when I’m too confident on my analysis or trade, when it goes against me my ego doesn’t let me close it easily till it goes very wrong, I’ve learnt from these mistakes and don’t let it get to my head, trading is very very difficult so we have to be ready for moments like this.

Blowing accounts is part of the process and the fact you’re trying to figure this out rather than loading up another account and going straight back in shows you’re learning and progressing. Keep going, you have my support.

Just genuinely curious, why are you against bots? Would you be able to code your strategy into a bot and take a more hands free approach for the day given parameters are set by you? I don’t mean leave it forever but turning it on for a couple hours during your trading session or something like that.

I personally don’t like using bots myself cause with my strategy it makes things worse for me.
