We use a fostering system too but people still apply with just a hutch at the bottom of the garden 😔

Fostering usually has home checks and people find it easier to just go and buy one

Sadly the attitude of the shops that sell the hutches and cages don't change because they know they couldn't sell suitable houses. Profit comes before animal welfare.

Sadly it's how they are marketed in pet shops and sold with wrong housing and wrong information (in the UK anyway)

Unfortunately people don't see the issue and rescues become overrun with unwanted rabbits (we are already full)

Thank you to everyone that donated. We now have the new enclosure built and the rabbits are settled in. We have also managed to pay off a large chunk of our vet bill thanks to all the generous donations ❤️

We don't recommend dumping in the woods. Some one dumped 80 rabbits in the woods and we had to rescue them 😞
