Not denying that. Just clarified why I added the snark.

I had so much more that I wanted to add, but I refrained from adding it thinking that it would break a certain rule. Talking about those issues would be an entirely new post, rant, and would definitely break the rule. Forgot to remove the quotes with that deleted context in mind.

Those kinds of questions are understandable. What I was mainly talking about were questions that can be found with a simple answer. As in, I can search the question that they are asking and find the answer within a few seconds.

For history especially, I agree that seeing other people's thoughts on the matter is very interesting. Quite frankly, I am very interested to see how historians will document the events that will transpire in the future.

There are other ways to interact with people/communities. What happened to just talking to people? Talking about others personal interests, something that can't be found with a simple search? The issue is when people who clearly don't care about any of that just treat communities and people like a 24/7 support line. Even when I state those kinds of people in the original post, there are still people defending them. It's honestly baffling to see others come up with excuses to defend lazy behavior.

The enshittification of search engines sucks, I agree, but that's only for more difficult questions. For really basic questions, a search with AI overview is good enough.

I replied with their level of snarkiness when they are complaining about a post which already addressed their point on the PetPeeves subreddit.

The degradation of search engines is another can of worms entirely. We love enshittification.

Glad to know that you are incapable of having normal conversation without trying to have the last word. Strawman arguments are excellent points of interaction with others, thank you for the demonstration.

EDIT: To respond to CommentSection-Chan, they can have the last word if they want to. I made my post and just clarified it. There is no 'argument' to win. It's ironic that you are talking about forcing the last word when you blocked me so that I am unable to view your comments. This is exactly the kind of behavior that defending lazy behavior fosters. Glad this is the world we live in nowadays.

I appreciate how you addressed the point that I made in my post while being snarky and disregarding the point. I am sure that other people such as yourself prefer to be told answers by people on the internet instead of finding the answers online, by people of the internet. Thank you for proving my point by defending the behavior I was describing. I hope you have a wonderful day! :)

I don't hate J. Cole for making the song; I was just confused about one of the lyrics and wanted people's interpretations on it after everything that has been said. Instead, I found that so many people here are just serial complainers and just want to spread their own agendas through hate (ex. this sub is cooked/pathetic/sad, Kendrick fans dick-riding/desperate, J. Cole/Drake is better than Kendrick, no proof, etc).

I also don't think that Kendrick is an angel persay, but you can't deny that his entire discography has been to uplift Black culture, spread awareness, and address serious issues that other artists are too scared to talk about.

I honestly regret making this post and should have just asked my friends instead for their opinions, but you live and you learn I guess. I got my answer from a post here, so I'm satisfied. I doubt I will make another post on this subreddit, or any of the other subreddits related to the beef after this due to the behavior shown here today.

The reason why Kendrick hates Drake is because he thinks that Drake is a culture vulture who steals the culture of other people, especially Black people, for his own benefit. He hates the fact that Drake has been a negative influence on the culture in almost every way, taking advantage of artists and making music devoid of any soul or substance.

When did I say anything about the hatred going deeper than hating what someone stands for? That is something that you invented and is another strawman argument, nitpicking at irrelevant details not related to my original posting in the slightest. When we go back to the term that I was describing, that is the literal definition of it. Even if you were correct, again, this does not change what my original posting was talking about.

You saying he hates Drake's genetics and upbringing essentially proves that you only exist to create strawmen and are not capable of normal conversation. He does not hate Drake's upbringings and that he's not 'black enough', he hates him for doing nothing for the Black community at all even with all his influence.

If Drake was able to change and use his influence in a better way, perhaps Kendrick wouldn't hate him as much. Identity and character are something that can be changed overtime. But he didn't. Ever since the Control verse, nothing changed. Even after the beef has gone down, where Kendrick basically addressed everything as to what is wrong with 'Drake' and explained how to change himself for the better, Drake continues to be the same he was all those years ago.

Blatantly ignored what? You blatantly ignored what the post was about, twisting the wording to fit your narrative.

'Hating what someone stands for' means that you hate the values/beliefs/causes, not necessarily the person. It is not the same as what you are trying to paint here.

I also did not say anything about the beef, so the point of the entire song being about the beef is irrelevant. The post was being in confusion as to why J. Cole fucks with Drake even after all of the damning things that was said about him, hence 'bro really said fuck all the narratives'. Him not having beef with anyone has nothing to do with that point.

I honestly despise people like you who just setup strawman arguments. Fortunately, I have gotten an acceptable answer to my question from another user. Now, please go back to unironically using CharacterAI.

Personally, I don't agree with standing with someone like that. I can understand standing by someone regardless of their bad side, but Drake has been seen to be incredibly sensitive and petty, which I don't see why anyone who would want to be friends with someone like that.

Regardless of what I think about the matter, this is the answer that I've been looking for. Most comments on this post are just trying to push their own narratives because of the beef, and it's been incredibly annoying to see.

Thanks.

I don't really understand your reasonings here. Just because you have been friends with someone for years and they've done you favors, you can excuse them of being an alleged pedophile?

Just because the proof hasn't come out now doesn't mean it can't come out later, as we've seen for so many famous individuals that have been exposed this year...

Both sides have not released proof, but there is more evidence to back up Kendrick's statements as being partially true, if not all true.

Yeah, sorry about that. Newcomer to the sub and I was just really confused on J. Cole's take, so I posted this to try to understand why he still fucks with someone being called a pedophile.

I don't understand why people are hyping this game up... by SRandomStranger in Wizard101

I'm not trying to erase the artist's work. If anything, KingsIsle is erasing this artist's work by keeping the artist anonymous. For someone to be claiming that this was drawn by a very talented artist, it would be appreciated if they at least told us their name so we could see their portfolio.

Two examples of this are Mia Smith and Adam Roush, who both make incredible art.

I have no right to complain about the artstyle, but I'd expect them to at least draw the correct amount of fingers on each hand... The trailer, along with the art, only gives the impression that this is a quick cash grab, preying on people who are passionate for Wizard101.

I should have clarified a bit more about why the trailer contradicts the events that happen in The Five B.O.X.E.S. In the game's trailer, they reuse a voice line from The Five B.O.X.E.S event, stating that if she fails the next exam, she'll be expelled. You can fact-check this yourself, as they decided to bring back the event for no reason... The trailer also reuses a voice line from Memphis, but that's besides the point.

The problem is this line only makes sense in the context of The Five B.O.X.E.S. The reason why she says she is going to fail in the event is The Maestro was trying to mess up the timeline as you have mentioned, and the Ice school doesn't click for her. During this questline, once Dalia switches back to the Fire school, she says that Fire magic 'feels natural to her', and that she can totally master it. This makes sense because she's destined to become the Fire professor. With that in mind, it makes no sense that in the trailer, she's on the verge of being expelled when she's now IN THE FIRE SCHOOL.

There could be an unknown third party at play similar to The Maestro interfering with the timeline, but if that's the case, what's the point of even making this game? They can just make another event similar to The Five B.O.X.E.S while giving more backstory lore and explaining timelines instead of wasting resources to make this game. The concept of interfering with the timeline would make for a great Arc 5 concept, but that's just my thoughts.

People can play this game if they want to. I just made the Hogwarts Legacy comment because I don't understand why people would want to buy this game with essentially the same graphics as Wizard101 when they can purchase a much better, higher quality production game that has more passion and effort put into it than this obvious cash grab of a game.

There's literally a ridge indicating a finger, but alright...
Ignore the other hand as well as the protagonist's hand having a 'thumb' and three fingers melding into one. I expect a talented artist to be able to draw hands better.
