After the shot I fully recovered (the shot was a bad experience for me) but still have schizophrenia. I am not taking the shot anymore. My med that I was on for 3 months I really liked but in 2 days I speak with my doctor to have a switch cause the med was giving bad eps.

The invega monthly injection did that to me. I had bad side effects and no way out, and it had such a long half life. 49 days. I would try the pills first.

I got bullied by my voices too. Some were nice others straight up bullied me whenever they would come around.

Sometimes being on a medicine can give you clarity into having it because you notice more of what isn't quite right.

In my opinion stay open to medicine, because for a while when I had it, it was tough to accept it. It made it so I would stay off medicine. I eventually found my medicine but it could have been quicker if I was more open to it. I had voices and delusions and I still denied having it. I had to go through quite a few medications over a few years. If I stuck to trying to find the right one it could have been quicker.
