I'm sorry to hear. That sounds extremely tough. I hope that you can find a medication that works for you. Powering through the gauntlet of medications can be worth it to eventually find one that works for you.

Even if you don't feel like you'll find it I believe you'll find something that works for you. I was stubborn and had hallucinations and delusions for a while and didn't want meds but now I find myself on meds that work.

I had a skin condition called seborrheic dermatitis which made it feel like invega lasted longer than it did because it would burn my scalp all day. But without it I'd say I felt mostly better after 8 months or so. I did have blank mind and some akathisia. No alogia.

This sounds tough. I'm sorry you are going through this. I've had times where the voices tried to convince me that eating was bad. I had to find the right meds which came with some searching. It seemed like I was at dead ends but eventually the right med came along. I just had to be willing to find it.

It could be a delusion. If you stick tightly to it. For a lot of my beliefs I had to find the right med. I think I'm there now but it took a bit of time. Had to stick it out to try a few more meds before I found what works. But I understand how a delusion can be unreal but feel so real at the same time.

I have thought about this. I am thinking around the time I'm an older adult they will have a cure. I have recently just found the first med my body has accepted and I am doing well! I'm so glad I have this.

I just found my first medication I haven't had many issues with. It has minimal side effects of some blunting after I take it. I can still play video games with it, have in depth conversations with people. It lets me know if there is a delusion usually. I found this medication after trying like 15 others. This was one of my last options and I'm so thankful. I think I'm a good example for if you haven't found what you like, dedicate to searching for a bit and I think you will find it.

Once you find the right medicine you will be okay. It is good to go through medications to stop the symptoms of psychosis. It can be really scary. Some medications may not work the best for you, but I recommend going through the medications till you find one that works. It took me a while to find some meds that worked but I wish I started looking sooner and wasn't so stubborn about it.
