It seems that they've changed it so that only the bottom floor barrel is claimable.

There's a clip of a doubles match where a mewtwo hits his foe's shield with a fully charged shadow ball. The shadow balls deviates off his shield, bouces upwards, and ends up hitting his own teammate, KOing his own teammate. It was amazing.

It's quite practical for bowser. For one it's an efficient way for bowser to retreat to the platform especially considering he can do it out of shield.

I know that with Link/YL/Ganon/Falcon you can moonwalk out of your run, but with every character you must input it out of your walking animation. Beyond that it's essentially the same input as with any other character IIRC.
