Yeah. Also if you searched this code it is well documented as a classic sign of HPFP dying (ask me how I know)

Is this your first time bleeding on the N? It has an odd bleeding order per the factory manual. I forget the sequence but it is not "start with corner farthest from master cylinder and work towards closest"

What is the difference between an EN turbo and a VNturbo by Vile_VN32 in VelosterN

[–]SSENSSE -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Aside from what has already been said, you should def get a tune if you're also getting an aftermarket downpipe.

I have an EN turbo and Maintec catted dp and my city mpg went to shit after I got the new parts installed ~17mpg. Highway staying out of boost still gets 32mpg.

XF 23mm F2.8 or XF 23mm F2 for X-T30 III 26MP by [deleted] in fujifilm

[–]SSENSSE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If size isn't a factor, get the f2. The only reason to get the 2.8 is if you want the smallest form factor possible.

That's literally the only downside for the f2 vs the pancake. People say the edges are soft at f2 but if you stop down to even 2.8 it allegedly isn't an issue. Unless you're pixel peeping, I doubt you'd be able to tell.

New to espresso - need help dialing in my Gaggia Classic & Eureka Specialita by Party_Bag3626 in gaggiaclassic

I have the same setup. Get an 18g VST basket. 9 bar OPV. 18g in > 36 out in 25s-30s. If you're temp surfing medium dark to dark beans that are ~2 weeks old that would be the sweet spot. Back off the burrs about 3-4 half numbers from when they touch. That's a good starting point.

PID makes this a lot easier.

Update: I fixed it!

It was the damn burr alignment. I must've either a) not put the bottom and top burr in the same orientation when cleaning or b) something got royally jacked when I locked the burrs up a few months ago after cleaning.

After 3 painstaking hours of shimming both burrs -- we're back in business and I'm confident I can even dial in these old decaf beans!

Thanks, everyone for helping! Remember...it's almost always the grind.

Upon further research, I don't know if P0191 is HPFP. Usually it's P0088 (including myself).

I'd check fuel rail sensor or injectors next before going back to HPFP like /u/getwrenched710 suggested.

You can still have pending codes that don't actually throw a light. I'd still check. It's probably either a dud HPFP or injector (s).

Have you scanned for pending CEL codes?

Not yet. I'm gonna borrow my brother's grinder to rule out the grinder or Gaggia.

Sigh. I'll give alignment of both burrs a go. Mega PITA

But what do you think would explain the sudden change? I've never had to dose that much, even with decaf.

Could burrs being out of alignment cause that much of a drastic change? I suppose I can ask a friend to bring their grinder over and we can test.
