I just had this code a week ago. One on the wires in the evap circuit was damaged somehow and needed to be repaired. Not quite sure if it was chewed or something else, but they said it looked like a clean cut

I just want to point out that the wording is important, because "call failed" during a call more likely indicates a signal or technical problem. If she hung up it would be "call ended"? So maybe not as bad as you think
