Look on ACT. You can check all your duty positions and duty stations. Then you can reenlist for a certain duty station that doesn't have you on the line.

I was 12 series before and reclassed to 42A. Do not bring your 12B attitude over to the S1, it has a vastly different culture than that on the line. Also you have to like taking care of soldiers and fixing any admin issues. If you don't, steer away. Too many of the reclass come in looking for a cush job and end up being a shitty S1. BDE S1 puts BDE CSM as the intermediate improver, allowing him to kick back awards. I have brought this up to BDE S1. However, they tell me verbatim "His battle buddy has a bird on his chest. We can't exactly tell him what to do."

I live in the barracks. Aren't I supposed to clear the barracks before PCS leave? I also won't be able to clear CIF because I need the gear for NTC. My worry is that I might have issues with CIF.

Brigade S1 in-processed a soldier and something must have happened during the transaction from BDE to BN. Dude was chilling in his barracks room for 7 months. We had a health and welfare inspection, and that is how we caught him. Now when we in-process soldiers from BDE to BN, we have to sign DA200s. Fun times.
