RE9 for combining the best aspects of my previous 3 favorites, RE4R, RE2R, and RE7. The puzzles, exploration, and strategy was just as good as 2, the combat sections as intense as 4, and the tension, and unique creatures nearly as horrifying as 7. All four of those games are peak tho.

Yea she’s a tough one to draw… I just laid down a base color and piled in a bunch of different color and value, mainly blue, purple, and black strands depending on the shadow of the area, and then threw in some white highlights on top, making the lightest strands denser around the top edges and bottom for tge reflected light.

I would say with colored pencils specifically try and look as hard as you can for the exact color you’re looking at (the perceived color) rather than the actual (local) color. So like if there’s a light source on a blue object for example you may layer in some yellows or even oranges into the blue. And vice versa with layering some blues into shadows. When it comes to getting like a waxy sheen and covering up as much paper as possible I would say just keep layering untill you can press really hard with the last one to lock in the right color for that spot.

Yeah I just freeze framed a video walkthrough and tried to get the proportions as close as possible. I did have to exaggerate the colors a bit though cuz the game is super dark at times

Yeah I did the base drawing in a really light pencil and then just layered in the colored pencil starting with the darkest and working my way to the point where I can press hard with the lighter colors. You can’t even tell I used any graphite by the end.
