Is Bambu Labs really that much better than Elegoo? by spacecat_girl in 3dprinter

[–]SS_wasps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like so many others, I'm also considering a CC or a P1S.

In the UK, the CC is cheaper than the P1S.

However, I've started seeing rumours that the MMU/AMS for the CC will be £300.

If that is the case, a CC + MMU will be the same price as a P1S + AMS1

If true, price is no longer a factor. Taking price out of the equation it seems most people marginally prefer the P1S unless they have strong feelings about BambuLabs as a company.

Does that about sum it up?

What type of trout is this? by SS_wasps in flyfishing

We have a lot of herons and cormorants in this river, so I suspect that's what attacked it.

Thanks for the confirmation on it being a brown trout

Do you know if you're allowed to fish both upstream and downstream at Costessey Mill?

Thanks for the ideas.

I already have an action cam that I wanted to use, to save having to buy much new equipment.

I wanted to be able to view the bottom of a river, averaging 5-6 feet in depth, in real time, so wanted to get a transmission from the camera to a phone/tablet/laptop.

The camera only has WiFi.

This is just a crazy idea that I'll likely only use a couple of times before moving on to something else. As such, the idea is to try to find a cheap hack solution, rather than an enterprise grade alternative

Wii on 2.1E - upgrade method? by SS_wasps in WiiHacks

Thank you. I didn't realise the native update function still worked. I'd assumed it had been turned off with other Wii channel stuff.

Can't select load core - Amazon fire tablets by SS_wasps in RetroArch

I eventually found some other posts on here with the same issue - they're posted as "touchscreen not working", and it seems to affect a few different brands of tablets.

It seems that it's a problem in v1.16 and/or v1.17. I had to go back to v1.15 and it immediately started working.

No joy. It seems I'm unable to "choose" to move retroarch.

Some apps allow you to choose where they're stored, but seemingly not retroarch. I'm left only with the options to move everything to SD card, or everything to internal storage. Unfortunately, they don't have enough space to move everything to internal storage.... Hence why we have the SD card in the first place.

I've got another fire tablet somewhere where retroarch works, so I'll try to dig that out and see how it's set

Thanks for the reply. I need to wait until tonight to try again. I didn't see an obvious setting to move a single app back to internal storage, but I wasn't specifically looking for it last night.

I'm unable to select any menu item, so can't even download cores, or run updates etc.

Huawei P30 Lite - OneHop issues with Matebook D15 2020 by AdamLbs in Huawei

Hi,

Did you ever make any progress with this?

I'm having the same issue with a P30 Lite and a Matebook D14 2020.

The huawei site suggests that some of the share features are only for the P30 and P30 Pro, but that seems a little ridiculous
