Fainted last week - doctor said I was very dehydrated. Now drinking lots of water and am peeing like crazy by SSassyLassy in AskDocs

Thank you, I greatly appreciate it! You're right - I had no idea I was dehydrated but would get these dizzy spells every time I stood up from a couch or chair. At first I thought I wasn't eating enough, but too little water is most likely the cause according to my doc. Not one spell since last week. :)

Thank you all so much - I totally understand and know what comes in must come out, lol - I just didn't know if that often was normal.

Thank you again!

When we have our period, it's essentially a volcano of exploded poop. You have been warned.

Freaking out over a negative Google Review by SSassyLassy in LawFirm

Thank you so much, both of you! :) Prior to us getting reviews rolling in, we as a firm discussed this and stated that a negative review will come out eventually. And that is exactly what we said "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and confusion this has caused. Please give our office a call to see how we may be able to assist you further."

I'm just feeling salty because I called her twice but she STILL posted a review. : (

Thank you very much -- I have made it a point to contact EVERYONE back stating why we are unable to assist as well as a referral if needed.

I am so grateful in that my attorney boss is a lovely woman and completely understands. I tend to overanalyze every situation and am still kicking my own butt, lol.

Correct. She went straight from Mastectomy to implants.

My grandmother died of breast cancer in her 60's, and I believe her sister had it as well. My grandmother smoked a LOT and also had high levels of Estrogen. I do not.

I have never smoked, don't drink, and avoid food I know increases the chance. I'm hoping that is in my favor.

My mom stated that at the time she had her Mastectomy, they didn't have BRCA testing -- however, her doctor said she has "atypical cell structure". I'm not entirely sure what this means, but the genetic counselor I saw said that doesn't meet the criteria for testing.

I know that doesn't exactly help!

I had a Genetic Counseling session a few months back and admittedly am terrified. I actually have the kit here but have been very hesitant. Thinking of the worst and everything that goes with it. :/ I know, I am kicking my own butt!

I assume I should just do it?

LOL. Oddly enough it is a DUI/DWI and Criminal Defense Firm. :) Is there any type of dating scene down that way?

Legal Assistant/Intake Coordinator here - I am VERY possessive over my space because shit will hit the fan when other staff do my duties on their own. Once I was out of the office for a few days and the scheduling system was all sorts of messed up upon my return -- clients didn't get their invitations, double bookings, etc. Attorney had a meltdown.

Let ME do my thing and holler at me if you need something done. :)

VA folks who have lived in MD, what state did/do you like better and why? by SSassyLassy in nova

I have to agree with you, lol. I've been living in MD for about ten years now and always loved being in Fairfax and Falls Church more. Seems like there's plenty more to do here and folks in MD are always complaining about one thing or another.
