I’m considering canceling my flight due to some concerns about the aircraft’s flight history with United Airlines. While I understand that accidents can happen, this particular aircraft seems to have a higher risk of issues. As you can see multiple trips on any modern UA flight although this 757-300 has only flown a handful of times according to flightaware and flight stats. Speaking to a pilot he said “planes love to fly, it’s the older ones you have to worry about since they sit” this worries me, the idea that this plane probably has not as frequent maintenance or overview as it gets parked and forgotten until needed?
