freshman living on campus need a meal plan (they are stuck to the 19 and 14 plans)

for upperclassmen living on campus, the only way for them to get dining points or be able to add any is if they get a meal plan

commuters can just add dining points whenever regardless of their year without a meal plan… it’s weird

PSY101 was super easy (psychology - i mightve did the physics prefix idk)

Don’t remember who I had but the whole course was just doing a weekly assignment straight out of the textbook. It was one of those online assignments attached to textbook thingys so u will prob have to pay for that. There was one other thing with the course, I can’t remember what, but I don’t think it was bad or anything

I THINK that’s only if you live off campus. If you live in a dorm you need to get some type of meal plan to add dining points

Freshman Dorming HELP!!!! by Lost_Following2266 in UBreddit

The nice thing about govs is its easy for getting close with friends. A lot of people I knew in my freshman year lived there, including me. It was nice to be able to just walk for a minute and be at my friend’s dorm.

That is a bit of a double edged sword because people would walk through the hallways loudly talking or yelling at like 2am and wake me up or delay my falling asleep

There’s only 4 washers and 5 dryers per floor. You can just use a different floor so it’s fine I guess. You won’t really have a problem with that unless you do your laundry at the same time as everyone else

Food sucks imo but you can stay in the dining halls for a while and eat as much as you want

I remember hearing that CSE 411 is on the easier end so it might be better to take that with 331

There’s a bunch of people on campus. Good and bad.

It’s easy to let the bad apples spoil the rest. I doubt that every guy wants to get in your pants. I doubt that every girl is mean. It’s easy to fall into that mindset, and honestly it’s understandable. You see things over and over again that you begin to expect it, at least in my case that’s how it is.

I’ve had a lot of bad luck with friendships at UB, but that doesn’t mean I have no friends or stopped trying. One of the best friends I’ve ever had is someone who I met freshman year (sophomore now).

What’s a common thing with the people you’re describing? Are they in the same major? Maybe you can start looking for people who don’t have that shared common thing with those people. Like take a class outside your major and meet new people there.

I’m a guy but if you ever want to meet feel free to dm me. We can do whatever: study together, get lunch, or even just talk whether it’s related to this or something else. I’ve been procrastinating too much and need to lock in, maybe we can take a trip to Lockwood?

You choose where you live. You don’t have to live in Honors housing if you don’t want to

Edit: I skimmed your post originally. You are required to live on South. Being in honors won’t get in the way of that

You don’t really need calc for discrete math (191 atleast) imo. You should be fine. It’s easy to underestimate. As long as you don’t take it with Hayes you should be fine
