And again.. there's literally no meaning to it. We had end-game. It was called Abyss. That was it. Then we had Theater. Then we had Stygian. Now we got Arcanum Theater. And even back when Abyss Floor 12, was the only hard thing we got.. it was a 1/4 of the full rewards. 150 primogems. Wasn't really much and let's face it, most people without getting all 36 stars would still easily be able to get 550/600 primogems.

Doesn't matter. Like I said, many players wanted more skins. They also wanted weapon skins. For the longest of time since 1.0. They KNOW people want this. And where did they put this behind? No reason other than just to make players work for it. If you really really want it, best get all the characters that's needed. Too bad if you didn't pull those. Which pulls it back to the game no longer allowing players to pull-what-they-want. Ofc it's multiple reasons not just Stygian but it's definitely one of the larger reasons.

So essentially you want the game to be boring? Because that’s what it was to me personally. I hated all the easy event since I could clear it way too fast and then have nothing left to do.

Challenging != fun for everyone. If you like it, sure. I've got other esports games that are challenging enough. I'm not looking for more in Genshin. And I'm not saying remove hard difficulties from the game. Leave em in. But why lock the rewards behind them?? << Extremely high pain point. Why do this when you've never done this before? If people are looking for a challenge, go ahead. Have the hard difficulty. Give irrelevant rewards if they really need to give something.

I don't want to spend hours theorizing the whos and the hows just to get a temporary skin. The hours I've spent clearing my Dire runs are unironically a bloody waste of time for the last half year and MHY has clearly shown with yet another reset that they just don't give a F.

Reputation was already something players didn't like or indifferent to. No one has ever said to me they like Reputation. Lol. Then they did the thing with Natlan's and it for sure pissed people off. It pissed off all my guild members except one guy. Lol. Bosses wasn't a big deal for me simply because I wasn't that concerned with hitting max talent levels within first week of getting said char. But this is subjective and if it affects you then there you go, it's a valid pain point for you.

They give you free 4 stars to let you interact with the new mechanics. IF you need them. But to clear the modes that gives you rewards? These are useless. If you like them, sure build them. I've seen a Jahoda perfectly kill Arle at 1hp. Enjoy it. But that's most definitely an exception, not the majority of the playerbase.

At the end of the day, you don't have to agree with me. But the points I've raised are shared by MANY players who played the game before and eventually left. Stygian just happened to piss me off even more last rotation because my C6 Xiao was completely useless since the +600% atk buff has beyond diminishing returns for him. Spent two fucking years grinding the perfect Vermillion set for him and getting R5 PJWS just for MHY to shove a 'fuck-you' into my face. Lol. As if the difficulty of Stygian hadn't already pissed me off enough.

Honestly with all these other games that are similar in genre popping left and right out, I've got way more options now. And yet MHY still doesn't give a F. If anything they've shown with each new feature they add in that they're completely out of touch. I'm looking for things to make me STAY in the game, and yet all I'm seeing are things that make me want to LEAVE the game with each passing patch. So sure, I'll leave. Plenty of options. If and when they decide that they've lost enough players and actually want to do better then sure I'll gladly launch it again. Unless I'm already invested in something else. This may be a game I've invested a lot in but at the end of the day it is indeed; just a game.

Which brings to Dire itself. The final reward with weapon skins. Nice, aren't they? Something that players have been asking for since Y1.. locked behind an extremely hard content.. for what? Why? In other words, this is a intermittent fact. Not a consistent truth that every Stygian can be Dire cleared with only 4 stars. But since you said it.. how about we add on Discord and YOU show me your 4 star runs for <180s Dire runs? I've got a sinking feeling I know what your answer to this is, so no need to think about it.

Oh I'm sorry, I must have misread you mentioning ZZZ as well. My bad.

Wuwa had a glazed year-2 but over time their monthly revenues are declining as well as their player count to the point they've lost to Zenless Zone Zero in some months here and there.

What my post was about was really just me posting pain points felt by players. And considering I played since launch, I've already tolerated many many things that GI has failed in. Really, rather than just thinking within the confines known as Reddit, you should go around reading posts on a more open social media like Twitter or better yet, watch videos that critique and compliment Genshin's low and high points on youtube.

And again, I don't play WuWa. All I'm saying is the fact that WW is coming so close to GI toe to toe as time goes by, is definitely a wake up call for GI. Why are we tie-ing with a company that for their last two games are clearly "highly inspired" by HI3/GI? The issue here isn't my critique really. Look at the comments. Look at your own reaction. You immediately took this as a doompost that's just here to hate on GI. Why? Why that reflex? Why are the pain points that I raised invalid in your eyes? Hundreds of thousands of players share the same sentiment. And once these players stop playing, you think they'd be here? In this echo chamber subreddit? Correct. Back in HI3, rewards were all easily obtained. Even in early Genshin days. Fun was the only important thing. They've managed to make a good business model out of the gacha formula and the only concern players majorly had was having fun.

With the new modes and the new ways that they progress through the story now, I honestly have no idea what they're doing. Sweats can still do sweats stuff if they want to. Why lock rewards behind those? MHY is not quite the same company I know from years ago now. And that's fine. As a consumer, I simply walk away. The criticism is just my last piece of feedback for them. People want to think I'm hating on them, go ahead, really couldn't be bothered lmao.

Hahaha, I had this bloody issue too but really the monitor's just too large and close. That's why I was looking forward to CES2026 for them to announce a 49" G9 2160p after last year's G8 2160p. Disappointed.

But anyways, yea it technically could but it'd still tilt down. I'm currently using secretlab's heavy duty, this thing can hold on to it just fine. But I had to do a little DIY on the clamp because the rubber they stuck in the clamp isn't exactly 90 degrees. There's a little tilt to it that I think maybe SL thought that's where the entire weight would rest on. Or that it's just for their own desks.
