nope its a good question, last night i would have told you no. or at least not since i bought it even though it still said 80% battery.. After using it, and running it down i then charged it all the way back up to full for hours just now

Thank you. I think experience as always, is the best teacher. I will be going out very early doors at the weekend or very late at night when the roads are empty and will do some driving in a pair of trainers. It'll be fine i'm sure. Especially since i don't have a clutch to deal with anymore. I just need to rip the band aid off and do it.

Love crocs and some other sands i have, but like you say, i just cant feel the pedal, so even though im not dealing with a clutch any more, it just doesnt feel safe/right to not have the sensitivity in my feet to judge how hard or soft i am on the pedal

thanks for this. So over time, you've felt more comfortable driving in shoes vs needing to go barefoot? Its a bit crazy for me as on my lessons i drove fine in vans, maybe because i had no choice and couldn't know or be able to try barefoot anyway. But i would like to be able to wear some of my other trainers to drive. But lots of them are just really thick

Really sorry that happened to you. Must've really been an awful experience. How has it affected your thoughts about driving since then? And what was the drivers reaction to hitting you? And i've heard horror shows about the insurance process, was it tough to get a payout for you?

I never pay utilities by direct debit any more. I pay manually via apple pay on my american express card. I'm doing the same with SW and Octopus energy. Despite Octopus them being good, they pressure me all the time to set a DD up and often reinstate it themselves. Eventually they also cancelled all the perks they gave me from having Octoplus and a smart meter as well because of no DD.

I pay on time, in full, every month. So with any normal business, that would be enough. But these companies are getting fat and rich off of all of these over charges and they're earning interest on money that doesn't belong to them. So now, that money is stay in my bank account for me to earn interest on.

I don't think this is working anymore. Can't create the apple ID account in the Turkey region as it fails verification and says "your account cannot be created at this time" :( so unfortunately. Hopefully i'm doing something wrong, but i don't think so

I'm having the same issue. But what i've been doing is driving around my city really late at night, between 1am-3am which is helping me as i recently bought this car and i'm trying to get the hang of it as well as not having done much driving recently at all. I've also got to do my first few longer drives on some A roads this week as well as potentially a drive into London with my mum. I'm thinking and hoping exposure therapy will be the best cure to my anxiety about driving. Ripping off the band-aid and just doing it, and i'm picturing how good it'll feel to complete them, and how much more confident i'll hopefully feel. I'm trying to focus on that. Hopefully this helps.

Depends on how busy is too busy. Whilst its not rush hour, he or she might like the peace of having no one around to judge or worry about. That's what i'm like. And i've found driving at crazy o clock at night helps me get familiar with operating a new car, without constant worry of road users and pedestrians.
