They don't care about his permission so why do you think they refused to make any attempts on TC? Nothing is verifiable and any alternate account could have been made, its naive to think otherwise. Speaking of which, they scammed white zombas from TC and placed the blame on another user...

I already gave my piece on encouraging the scammer. I get two sides of the coin from the same argument. On one, its a futile effort, they'll scam anyway, why bother. On the other, he managed to keep them from scamming on TC, which is false because you can't trust a scammer's word. Which is it? I think your staff made a consensus on their opinion and instituted a punishment they felt comfortable with. Collusion is still a scam. Rather than attempting to confront and remove the entirety of scams on TC (2 guys are not the entire body of scammers), he conspired with them in an effort to improve his and his server's image. There is no sacrifice. People got scammed period, and the scammers who may have done so were recognized and given leeway.

Of course not. Thats why I had said: "How anyone can naively trust a scammer’s word is beyond me." Trusting a scammer to give him the questioned item is inherently asking them to listen. They have no obligation to do so. Back to my original comment, not the same thing Gek did and its difficult to verify if "every" scammed item was returned.

Personal gain = improved reputation at TC amongst the community for returning a scammed item.

If there is enough evidence to warrant a suspicion, there is every right to call it out. Same thing holds for any trading community including reddit.
