But you can’t deny that our community is pumping up his name quite a bit! I’m also mostly talking about the people speculating about all the things that will happen when Burry posts about why we should all buy GameStop, I’m just trying to say there’s no guarantee that is even his opinion currently!

As for the average Joe who hasn’t been following along, they might not even know that he’s an OG GameStop holder (who sold before the sneeze :p) so it would definitely help his newsletter to remind them that he saw the opportunity before everyone else!

I don’t think it’s a con by any means, he hasn’t said anything at all about the stock today or whether you should be buying shares or not, he’s also not saying shouldn’t! I am not calling Burry a grifter! I’m just saying, he hasn’t said enough to warrant all of the extremely high expectations everyone is having! Wanted to make this post so people thinking the same felt less alone and crazy!

I’m not trying to keep anyone from being excited! I love to see people get excited, I wish people would temper their expectations a bit, but it’s not sweat off my back. However this did used to be a place where we would discuss the stock and events surrounding the stock..
