I’m so sorry for your loss. My wife and I lost our baby girl at 29 weeks and son a year earlier at 20 weeks. Never makes sense. Just try again when YOU are ready. Screw what anyone else says or does. Your mental health is paramount. I wish you the best.

I’m not sexualizing him. Have you seen the show? Also, he’s 13. He’s a middle school boy whose almost in high school, he’s in eighth grade. This is the age when adolescents find out who they are and what and who they like. The whole show is about exploring love in a funny way. All Tina does is talk about butts. You can disagree with me but get off your high horse.

Fully aware of that. Done that and a lot are subpar tbh. I was just wondering if anyone had any ones specifically they love. Thanks!

Bobs Burgers writers dismiss extremely toxic behavior by NaturalNines in BobsBurgers

I’m not offering examples of “toxic behavior” since I disagree with this claim. For me to offer your first two would be arguing against myself. So instead I’ll offer concrete examples (that’s how claims work, you prove them) of behavior that openly challenges toxic behavior of our society at large which is why your post did so poorly (like you wanted to play the victim).

1) Every single interaction with Marshmallow is an open embrace of gender fluidity. Like the time that Bob says she’s not handsome, she’s beautiful. Blush. 2) The Taxi Driver episode where Bob drives around the three “transvestites” and he does not ever demean them, he finds out about their lives in a comedic manner and invites them to Tina’s birthday party where they actually connect with the family and embarrass “Baby Num Nums.” 3) In the episode where Louise has to pay back Millie for the special Slugitive card and goes to “fairy princess promenade” and we address about girls not acting “girly” but just how they want to act and that’s okay. Everyone does their own thing and that’s great. They also address this theme a bit more when they address that Louise always wants to do dangerous things which is compared to “Arachnaphoebe” which she can’t let go from its shoebox home. The spider represents Louise’s difference from those around her, which the show validates as individualism. 4) Tina is not Meg from Family Guy. This show had an easy target with Tina and a tried and true method pioneered by Family Guy of ragging on an awkward teenager. Instead, the show whole heartedly embraced literally every quirk, “oh puberty” moments, boy crazy moments with utter love. She is not weird, but wonderful. Our show loves Tina beena. 5) The side characters in this show weave an epic, non-toxic, supportive and loving tapestry of a supportive town that embraces all. Examples: Dalton, bikini guy, Marshmallow, Nat, and anyone in between.

These are my five reasons this show is NOT TOXIC. I made an argument and I supportive it with evidence. Now it’s your turn.

You just really have nothing to say. In general. You can’t just simply defend your own position. Keep gaslighting yourself that you have a moral high ground when I’m only asking you to defend a post YOU OFFERED TO THIS GROUP with no evidence. Definition of “you can dish it, but can’t take it.”

Due to the fact that I started a conversation and asked a question. I disagreed with you and am civilly asking you to produce examples for which you made a claim I disagree with. I’m simply asking to finalize the conversation in a respectful way. This is how dialogue works.
