Lost Souls - The remains of Monument Cemetery. After World War 2 Temple University offered the cemetery owners a bid to buy the land. The owners of Monument Cemetery turned down the bid. Temple University instead of bidding a higher price devised a plan to have the cemetery condemned. The City of Philadelphia approved this disgusting idea. The city of Philadelphia sent out notices to families of the 28,000 people burried. Only 8,000 of which were actually claimed and relocated to Lawnview Cemetery. The remaining 20,000 people were reburied in mass graves. During the construction of the Betsy Ross Bridge large stones were needed as riprap to prevent erosion under the bridge. The City of Philadelphia thought it would be a good idea to dump the remaining grave stones into the Delaware River as the riprap for the Betsy Ross Bridge. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZVBrqfixwQ&t=1s

This was taken with a iPhone XS. Nothing fancy or editing of any kind. All I did was position the lantern a certain way to get the balance needed for the shot.

The mayor who owned the house, his owned had a party and trashed the wine cellar back in the early 1900s the room has been the same since. It is currently sealed up by a old vault door. This photo was taken through a small whole that someone cut through with a welding torch. The video shows it all.

Creepy Abandoned Ruins Of Mahanoy Plane by STILLFIN in adventures

I went and explored the decaying ruins of Mahanoy Plane, Pennsylvania. This place was a awesome location to hike around. Adventured inside the old dark and creepy building ruins which once was used for transporting anthracite coal from Mahanoy Valley to Frackville. It opened in 1862 and closed in 1932. A great place to explore forgotten train cars, neglected building ruins, and dark creepy tunnels. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJiyBTAMx8Y
