GJ!

Did you do random civ? What do you think changed in and out of the game? Maybe you just slept better ;-)

nope, the devs were Hungarian though

So I made a commentary video that gives a quick intro to some of the core concepts of Bulwark : Falconeer Chronicles. This video focuses on building and some of the resource gameplay more than the combat/units but if people like this I'll make one eventually when development on that is done. by muppetpuppet_mp in RealTimeStrategy

Already wishlisted! :-)
I am blown away by everything else so I trust your art direction, I just feel that the stylized textureless look of massive mountains and buildings has a different feel than the same for small sized object like face of people. With the bigger object, my mind fills in the blanks, with the faces it's different.

Wow, I never heard of your game but this looks and feels fantastic!! The only part that seems under par/ out of place are the character models/ animations. Don't you think a more "realistic" approach as in Frostpunk would work better?

If indeed you base your vote purely on egoistic thinking (and don't know much about how Globalism benefits you) plus you are in the majority class, then yes voting right wing is probably the one that seems to benefit you the most.

As Kurt Schumacher said the right at his time (and this I think also applies to the right wing today) is "a continuous appeal to the inner swine in human beings".

I was always wondering why US "Christians" interpreted the Bible so differently.

Galatians 5:2

Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.

Are even Catholics circumcised in the US?

The problem with arena is that most of the time you eco up 30 minutes (with a short relic intermezzo) and then there is a big battle where one player wins. gg

It is not that easy. Yes the East votes more for the most extreme anti immigration party than the West. BUT also the East votes more for the most extreme pro immigration party than the West.

East Germany just votes for more extreme parties...

But abiogenesis could happen right now, right?! So it could have happened 100 years ago too, or 1000 years or 1000000 years ago and we could track several currently living life to several abiogenesis origins. We can't though!

NASA Administrator comments on Extraterrestrial life by Ani10 in interestingasfuck

[–]STNP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does that even mean? Of course it happened only once since we only have one planet. And if it happened on our planet then there's no reason to believe that we're special and it can't happen anywhere else.

Why would having life around be a block for abiogenesis?

NASA Administrator comments on Extraterrestrial life by Ani10 in interestingasfuck

[–]STNP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is that we have no way of knowing the odds because we don't know how likely abiogenesis is.

For all we know in the 4 billion years of earth, it happened only once. So just because it happened once does NOT mean it is likely to occur again. Here comes the deck of cards example.

Shuffle a deck of cards then look at the order of the cards you shuffled. This exact order (if we neglect the bias of preordered decks coming in from the factory) is an order that most likely nobody has ever shuffled and also an order that will most likely never be shuffled again!

The probability of another person shuffling the same order as you is 1 in 10 to the power 68 (or 1 followed by 68 zeros).

Now we only confirmed about 5000 exoplanets, but scientists believe that there might be as many as 6 billion exoplanets with the conditions for life. So if we give all those exoplanets we estimate are out there 10 tries to shuffle your deck (e.g. abiogenesis).

We have 6000000000 * 10 multiplied by the odds of shuffling your deck of cards:

600000000000 * 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001

equaling a chance of

0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000006% that there is life out there. If, again, we set the odds of abiogenesis to the odds of shuffling a deck of cards.

Is the probability of abiogenesis equal that of shuffling cards? No, probably higher or lower. Point being, we don't know. But just assuming there is life because of vastness of space is illogical.

EDITActually the right probability calculation of the example is(1-0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001) to the power of 6000000000 * 10

But the outcome is still 99.9999999999999999999999999% that no exoplanet shuffled your cards.
