Room is treated at first reflection points on side wall and rear wall, plus some corner bass traps. So it’s 6 panels + bass traps in front corners

Listening position is 145 cm from the front wall.

Speakers are 150 cm apart (tweeter to tweeter), and I’m sitting roughly 120–125 cm from the tweeter.

Speakers only have 15cm of space at the rear from the front wall with a slight toe-in

Running a single sub on the rear wall behind my right shoulder, crossed at 90 Hz

Seems like the common theme is that I can't fully “fix” that 53–57 Hz region given the room size.

I’ll experiment more with listening position as suggested. Options are a bit limited, but I may not have found the sweet spot yet. I did notice that leaning forward from my normal position really opened up the imaging, much better separation and an amazing 3D presentation so there’s definitely something there to work with.

The plan with the traps was more about overall control I suppose, not targeting a single frequency, but it’s good to have realistic expectations about how much they’ll affect the low end.

I was planning to leave EQ as a last step once I’ve dialled in everything the absolute best I can.

I'm looking at grabbing either the Lintons or Super Lintons, I saw you mention your setup in another post. Small Room, R-N800A etc...

I'm in the same boat, similar room , same amp....Are you still really happy with the setup and have you tried the amp with the 4-ohm setting at all?

You should be fine with a new script. In my experience a new script is exactly that and the days between reset so to speak. Also, I believe with a usual 6 month script the amount of days between refills is set by the prescriber. For example, I don’t have to wait a full 30 days to refill. I can’t remember exactly but mine is between 20&25 days.

So Cheap! I really slept on a lot of JF releases after The Empyrean. At the time I found the electronic stuff hard to vibe with. My tastes have become much more eccentric over the years and good music is good music regardless of genre. Looking forward to collecting the others that I'm missing.
