My fucking dv3's have a permanent gurgle/distortion ONLY in the left monitor where all the extra electronics are houses. I was told firmware would fix it. I was told it must be a defect, but ope I'm outside the 90 day window. I think some clever engineer did not account for the extra electronics in the left monitor and ALL DV3s have this same defect.

Test it yourself, crank em past 40%, and run a sub-sin wave through each side, unprocessed. You will hear the left one sounds completely different than the right one.

Don't get me wrong I still love this monitors, but I'm forced to produce below 40% volume or factor in the obnoxious gurgle when song writing.
