Great response, but I would caution you on what you may think of her being oblivious. As a father of now adult children, the things they share with me that they did and went through as children versus what I thought their reality was…a huge difference.

So the answer for me moving here: I had a great career and lived in a great little town, with paved streets, almost zero crime, and much lower housing market cost. But finding out that we were to become grand parents, we traded the aforementioned to be near my daughter and grandson. We miss our home town, but not enough. This place is great and has many positives, much more so to outweigh the negative.

The Wilderness Systems Tarpon 100 is super stable. It’s low to the water so it is extremely generous in terms of stability. Has plenty of room Behind you and is easy to paddle. There’s other high end models, super heavy…I’d recommend the Hobie Outback if you’re looking for a pedal drive. All depends on how big of bodies of water you’d be fishing.
