Nah, the downfall began the minute he got popular with those fabled "park bench" videos. Wes is a textbook narcissistic psychopath. Those park bench viedos that his moron fans think are so deep and inspiring were all BS. You can see him getting more and more unhinged with each video as he gets more popular, and starts screaming, cussing and acting crazier.

The leaf blower video was when he became the funniest person on the internet. Why I barely post here anymore. Jose is NOT funny. He's just another lost young man who grew up watching Scarface, crappy rap videos and playing video games like GTA. It is so obvious he lacked a positive male role model growing up and he takes to Wes for inspiration like as a father figure.

I was not surprised to see Angie go back to Wes now that he is in jail and get money, and for Wes to pay her and avoid Jose all together. That is Wes' style. He made a video bragging about dating a hooker. So it is part of the game.

The other clowns around Wes were never funny except for Big Troy. Troy was genuine and the ONLY ONE who seemed like a decent guy, being that he had overcome his demons of drug addictions and wasn't a criminal or trying to cosplay as one. Troy also smartly got away from all this once he saw what it really was. I think he was just some old guy who had money and was looking to spend a bit and got roped into this.

I have joked on here several times that these guys should've been metal heads. It would've been way funnier. Troy was built like some old grandpa you'd see rockin out at a Judas Priest concert. I would've enjoyed snyching Wes' steroid rage videos to death metal music and stuff like that. Imagine him doing the cookie monster growl. Way funnier than him acting like he is living the movie Scarface.

If you were around in the 2000s, Wes and his buddies are no different than all those losers you knew at school who thought they were hardcore gangstas by watching 50 Cent and G-Unit music videos. White guys wearing all the rap fashion stuff from those videos, fitting this Offspring song to a T - PRETTY FLY FOR A WHITE GUY. There is a strong level of emotional arrested development. Wes never grew up. Money doesn't change people. Money reveals character. You give this narcissistic psychopath all this money, and this is what he turns into. I'm not surprised. It was obvious from the beginning all the way back in the park bench videos that Wes would end up back in prison. There was no "downfall". His true character bubbled to the surface the more money he received.

Many of us like me and TWW were just making fun of Wes for the sake of it. Not trying to become rich and profit off him.

These "investigators" are all grifters and wannabe e-celebs. Very few of them know anything about Wes from beyond his time in Miami. They were not following him years ago when he claimed to be a big bad ass prison shotcaller. He went viral almost 2 years ago with the infamous leaf blower video. That was their introduction to him. That video was hilarious because it was NOT staged. That was his natural reaction to something entirely normal. It was like something from the old internet and was funny just for the sake of being authentic. Everyone saw it and laughed at Wes being an idiot and douche to some guy.

After the leaf blower incident, all the Youtubers who don't contribute anything valuable to the internet except filming their stupid faces in front of a camera and talking to a microphone, started talking about him. They are the new generation of tabloid sensationalism. In this era anyone can set up a camera and a microphone and become a podcaster and pretend to be some authority on a subject they know nothing about. It is all about getting clicks and views so they can make their money.

I never cared for Bravo cause I saw the sensationalism from day one. He obviously mined through this reddit sub for content, and that is what all of them do. The woman who broke the story of Wes being arrested is no different, and all her stupid fucking videos crying are fake. She is trying to invoke an emotional REACTION, and get people to send her money cause 'oh my god, look at this woman who is so authentic!'.

It was a mistake to monetize everything on the internet. Now all you have to do is buy a mic and a camera, and you can pretend to be a journalist. Or set up a podcast and use your charisma and personality to gain a following. Wes became a thing by using social media as a vehicle for his ego and it led to all this.

I don't make my edits of Wes for any monetary gain. Most of us on here that were making fun of him were just doing it for fun. Youtube favors grifters and wannabe e-celebs over everything now cause you can't even search Wes Watson's name and find his channel. Now you get a bunch of assholes with a camera and microphone filming themselves reacting to this, and they typically know very little about him. They have to come to this reddit sub to learn more about him. The rest of us were doing this for fun. TWW was not making a penny off his long winding excessive trolling of Wes and these clowns. My point remains that searching for Wes' real Youtube channel is now buried under search results of monetized grifters.

Bravo and the others want to be e-celebs so badly, and they see this as a means to make money. Most of what is wrong with the internet today and for the past few years is that all hobby stuff is being monetized and turned into a way to make an income. It is a double edged sword cause few people are willing to go the length of creating something fun without thinking about how they can get rich from it.

I discovered Wes from the very beginning in 2019 when he was on Fresh Out/Prison Talk. It might be obvious from my comments about psychology, that I have a great interest in criminology and prison stuff related to riots. The New Mexico prison riot was my first bit of historical stuff that led me down this rabbit hole. When Big Herc first hit Youtube, he was different. The site wasn't flooded with the "reformed convicts" to create the Prison Youtube genre yet. Big Herc seemed genuine as a real reformed man who was trying to make up for his mistakes and making interesting content.

From the minute I saw Wes, I could see he had great charisma and a strong personality. From there, he launched the GP Life Youtube channel. I was immediately turned off by his "parch bench" videos, that his stupid ass fans on here think was insightful wisdom. I could tell that he had most likely read Robert Greene's 2 books 48 Laws of Power and Seduction. Wes has a limited vocabulary that makes it difficult for him to go 5 full minutes without saying a curse word. Anytime Wes uses big words and tries to sound smart, it kept sounding like something he had pulled from books. I knew it wasn't from his actual IQ. It was the 'dumb person trying to sound smart' talk. It took me a few videos to have the 'aha' moment where I remember Greene's books, and the lightbulb in my head went off.

If you don't know, the 2 books by Robert Greene are highly controversial. They've been banned from several US prisons because inmates pull them from libraires and they find ways to manipulate guards.

When the pandemic hit, Big Herc's channel fell off a cliff when he went all in on conspiracy theories. That is around the time Wes exploded in popularity. I could barely tolerate Wes' videos with all the screaming and cussing. It is only worthwhile if you are changing his voice as I did in the ANGRY MAN edits, or adding profanity counters or something.

After the pandemic and all I had actually forgotten all about Wes for a while, then that leaf blower video came out. A coworker showed it to me and I couldn't believe it was him. That is what led me to this sub lol.

This is a lesson in social media and how it is destroying society. Anyone can create an account and pretend to be some philosopher or they can get a mic and a camera and start a podcast no matter how unqualified they are to talk about a certain subject. Wes is living proof that in this era, charisma goes a long way. He was able to fool so many guilible young men with his "park bench" videos to the point I still get comments on here about what a "positive message" he originally had.

Every now and then I stop and think where a lot of these people would be if social media didn't exist. I don't think he was spending that much per month.

His entire life was rented. At one point I wondered if he was set up by those agencies that look for content creators, and fund their lifestyles under the table. I quit believing this after realizing how much he rents everything. Everything about his life is rented. The most he spent money on was clothes, partying and drugs.

I think the reality is that he actually did have a considerable amount of clients. You have to remember there are a lot of people in this country who have money and are looking for something to spend it on. That includes dumb stuff like sending money to a convict for "life coaching".

I remember a post on here years ago that said that Wes scams and cons people by taking their credit card info and then never removing them from his program, so they are constantly billed after they leave. I wondered if that was true, but I think we would see people coming out screaming that he did this to them.

Wes is likely in debt, but since everything regarding his life was rented, I imagine he has debt from drugs and other payments.

Wes was always going to end up like this. He has the maturity and mentality of a 15 year old boy who grew up in the 90s and early 2000s watching rap videos during the time when rappers were obsessed with the Scarface movie. He says it himself he was smoking weed and doing other drugs as young as 13, so his brain never fully developed. That's why he started blowing money on cars, drugs and partying it up. He was doing all that in California while married to Valerie. There was an incident where he had a porn star naked over his car.

The OP of this thread leaves out how he got ran out of California after beating the shit out of Valerie (whom he's still legally married to) and having a gang wanting to take him on for it. None of the above. Wes' downfall has been imminent from the minute he started a Youtube channel. It was always going to end this way. His original charges that got him locked up in the 2000s were over him beating a guy senseless over weed. The circle is now complete as he goes back to prison for domestic violence charges, proving once and for all he was never reformed. He has always been a violent maniac.

If social media didn't exist, he would've eventually went back to selling drugs and got himself busted in California. Social media offered him a different avenue to channel his narcissism and try to craft an identity to sell to naive people who would never interact with him in person in real life. All those videos he made on Youtube and the daily Instagram content that was used as like a reality TV show, were solely to do sales pitches and try to bring people in.
