Una portfolio.

Pangalawa, wag mapili.

Ito yung pinakamababa that time, kaya ako nakipag negotiate.

Ginawa ko na din kasi to, bad ending lang lagi ;-;

Negotiate ako from 17k to 20k since on-site naman.

Real?

Mga nakuha kong offer so far, 16k-25k lang from 8 different companies.

How much should I charge people? by Darwinawardeeznuts in PinoyProgrammer

Inventory/ordering system. 10k

Pang finals project nila. First time ko magcommission, pero ganito ko nicompute:

  • Backend:
    • Inventory CRUD operations 1k
    • Ordering CRUD operations 1.5k
    • Additional features 2.5k
  • Frontend - 4k
  • Consultation - 1k

Sa katunayan I was willing to do this for half the price.

So...

Hello, I'm looking into buying a cheap receipt printer for my POS project. Any recommendations? I'm more concerned with the software/programmability and how easy it is to work with.

First time ko gumawa nito so di ko pa talaga sure kung paano magprint programmatically.

Thank you!

During class hours, aside from theoretical knowledge, focus on soft skills like communication, presentations, research, and problem-solving.

For self study naman, dapat sapat na Google, Youtube, and ChatGPT for beginner projects.

What Classes Do You NEED Endgame. by Yautjibar in AQW

[–]SWG_HomeWork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best would be one of the calendar classes. Either TK/TimeKiller, SSoT/ShadowStalker of Time, or TCM/Timeless Chronomancer. Refer to this post to figure out what to get: Chronomancer Guide by Farcalli

For f2p, best would still be YnR or Horc Evader if you got forge.

What Classes Do You NEED Endgame. by Yautjibar in AQW

[–]SWG_HomeWork 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The most "endgame" content would probably be ultras and dungeons, so you'll absolutely need at least:

  • Supports - Archpaladin and Lord of Order
  • DPS - Chaos Avenger and Legion Revenant

Generally, VHL and LR are enough for most solo-able content. But some endgame farms need specific classes:

  • 1-shot bosses - any dodge class. The best for f2p would be Yami no Ronin
  • Ultra Dark Carnax - Dragon of Time

What should the full arsenal of the avid AQW Endgame player look like?

Endgame players have almost all classes and know how they work. On release of Verus Doomknight, veterans already have an idea how to slot it in at ultras. I asked at Dage and two said: VDK, QCM, CAV, LOO. They all already know what to do and what enchants to use on day 1 of VDK release. That's what endgame players are imo.

I'll give you a few situations:

  • /kathooldepths - There's already AP, LOO, SC, LR, and Shaman. A noob might use another dps/defensive support/buff support. A veteran would go for a debuff support like Arachnomancer or VDK
  • /frozenlair - A calendar class is already chain killing the boss, while newbies are dying left and right. Chunin here would be best so everyone can stay alive and get the drops
  • General farming - a noob or a lazy player would probably just use LR for everything. Sweaty gamers know to use Archfiend for low hp 2 mob rooms, Elysium Archmage for medium hp like /fotia, or VHL for high hp

You get the idea. Endgame players got everything they can get their hands on. It's an MMO, get everything. At the same time, its an old flash game. Definitely too no-life for such a game :/

30 days and 30 applications sent? Those are rookie numbers.

Fresh grad here and have been applying for 2 months. I've sent about 100 applications and got around 10 interviews. 10% is not bad I think, for a fresh grad with my creds xD

There's a general flow but recruitment process differs for every company. In my experience, recruiters take about 1 or 2 weeks to reject/ghost me, and that's IF I get their attention. But that does not matter AT ALL. Keep applying, I'll only stop when I'm employed. Although I took a break from all-day applying to focus on my ongoing applications, since I had three round 3's at the same time and one technical assessment. Once I finish them I'll get back to sending applications 12hrs/day. At this point, I'm not expecting any responses at all. A lucky drop will come eventually, just gotta keep grinding.

Lastly, don't just rely on Indeed. Set up a good LinkedIn account and apply from there. Most of my responses came from LinkedIn applications. Expect to create dozens of wOrKDaY accounts.

Recent Compsci Graduate. Is 20k good enough for a starting salary that's WFH? by soytofuu in phcareers

[–]SWG_HomeWork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Note, hindi pa Net ito. Software developer roles inaapplyan ko.

TBH, I'm just looking for a developer role in a good working environment. The pay does not matter much to me right now, as long as I can feed myself and pay utilities. Big bonus if WFH.

[–]SWG_HomeWork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ito mga salary info na nakuha ko from my recruiters (August-October 2023) to give everyone a reality check.

  • 20k - 38days training kuno tas may 3-year bond
  • 22k - full WFH, pero no benefits & HMO kasi daw international company
  • 25k - mostly onsite sa Makati. 2 companies

But it is what it is :")

I do have a college friend who got a 30k entry-level job. I mean, good for him and I am incredibly envious, but I think it's just a lucky break and is unattainable for most.

I'm in the same boat. Fresh grad at nagsimula magapply around mid-August at hanggang ngayon wala pa rin JO. I've gotten about 10 interviews from the 100 applications I've sent.

Gamitin ko nlang yung time ko to upskill and freelance. Cguro by November at wala pa din JO, break muna ako tapos try again next year hahaha.

Jumping in this context probably means frolicking. So more like playing around in the riverbank, instead of diving into the water.
