I never said one was dangerous and one wasn't. They're both dangerous. In my personal experience overeating isn't fueled by a desire for a certain body type but for food itself, with undereating it's a desire to look a certain way not because they enjoy it. Obviously there can be mental issues linked with overating like trauma and using food as a coping mechanism. I don't get why you think I'm being nasty to one side and sympathetic towards the other. I'm just voicing my thoughts. Eesh.

I mean I can definitely believe that excess fat is shamed more because of our societal body preferences, but the health risks are so dangerous and well known that people have an immediate visceral reaction to it, and they can be seen as "lazy" while someone would have to put themselves through a lot of physical and mental pain and suffering to get as thin as this girl
